Life Purpose in the Sky
I saw a picture of the most beautiful blue color I’ve ever seen (blue is my favorite color). It was a picture of Bláhver, Hveravellir, Iceland (google it, you’ll love it too). A beautiful photograph of a geothermal hot spring in that location. Photography gives me the gift of seeing places I may never see in my lifetime, but I can be there in my imagination. And I think of my dad who had a collection of National Geographic magazines (a magazine known for Nature pictures), and when I was little I use to look at them and I would travel in my heart to foreign places far and wide. As an adult, I am at awe at how Nature and photography was always with me since I was a kid, and I didn’t see it. I didn’t know how important they would both become in the making of who I am now.
Throughout our lifetime there are signposts. Breadcrumbs our Soul leaves on the path ahead of us so we may find our way to our purpose and mission on Earth. And as we journey through our life, we can see that when we place all the pieces of the puzzle together, the picture was always complete. It was there all along the journey.
This week, Mars is coming into a conjunction with the North Node of Fate and then meeting with Mercury in Pisces. Mars teaches us about action while the North Node emphasizes a sense of inner direction. We are asked to take look within in order to find life direction. We are asked to connect to our inner wisdom so we may find our way.
There is a key already placed within you by your Soul. It opens the door to the path that is for you. If you are ever lost, confused or simply forgotten your way. Go inward. Breathe and connect with your own self in stillness. And in the stillness, a voice will appear. A small voice that you will come to recognize as the wisdom that lives within you. And when you learn to listen to that voice. You open your eyes to the life that has always been here. The life underneath your life. The meaning behind all the things that have happened to you begin to make sense and you understand that everything had a reason and a purpose. Then, your life makes sense. Then, there is clarity of direction and intention. The key has always been within you, and so is the door. Not in the outer world. Not in other people. Not in institutions. Not in school. Not in your parents nor your mate. But inside of you. So today, look within. Find the key and open the door. And slowly as the path unfolds you will find where you belong.
