Week Ahead Astrology
On Tuesday March 2nd, Mars enters Pisces activating all water and mutable sign placements in your Natal Chart. Notice what placements you have in these signs as well as in Virgo and Pisces. Mars in Pisces also activates the upcoming Lunar Eclipse on Tuesday in the sign of Virgo.
The Virgo/Pisces axis speaks of service, surrender, health, wellbeing and healing. Virgo is ruled by Mercury. Mercury wants precision, exactitude, proof, detail and perfection. Pisces is ruled by Jupiter. Jupiter wants expansion, growth, faith, compassion and surrender. The Lunar Eclipse activates the tension of this axis. The tension between proof and faith. The tension between knowledge and intuition. The tension between hard work and rest. Yet, both signs speak to how we approach life. In the sign of Virgo, we believe that through hard work, precision and mastery we can be of greater service. While in the sign of Pisces, we believe that service comes through letting go, surrendering and trusting the Universe. Virgo has a tangible approach while Pisces has an subtle, ethereal approach. Somewhere in your Natal Chart you have both signs and they will be activated for the next 6 months up to a year.
The Moon on the Lunar Eclipse chart sextiles Jupiter and opposes Mercury. Both Planetary rulers of each sign are activated further emphasizing the need for balance and equanimity in our perspective, intention and actions in this area of our chart. The sextile to Jupiter speaks of a need to grow and expand during this Lunar Eclipse period. We may have outgrown a situation in our lives. We may need to expand our consciousness and create more opportunities for ourselves. The opposition to Mercury may speak to not yet knowing what to do next. You may not know what the next move is or how to go about making a change in this area of your life. There may be a need to have an important conversation with someone. There may be a need to make a final choice or decision. It is important to note that Mercury is retrograde and that it is possible you may change your mind if you make a choice solely on emotion or intuition (Mercury is currently in water activating emotions and feelings). Both Mars and Mercury are in water right now and the tendency may be to make choices and decisions on feelings/emotions/impulses alone. The chart however is inviting us to use both logic and heart. Yes we can have faith of a positive outcome but we must have a concrete, grounded plan of action.
On Wednesday, Venus in Pisces sextiles Uranus in Taurus, and there is an opportunity for a breakthrough in the areas of Love and money. Where there have been limitations, obstacles or blockages now there is an opportunity for momentum and forward movement. Venus in Pisces is exalted which means that Venus can express energies of the heart and the energies of Pure Love more easily than in any other sign. Venus in Pisces is empathetic, giving, romantic, idealistic, creative and peacekeeping. There is an opportunity to heal through Love. There is an opportunity to break through old patterns of thinking or behaving that may have you or others around you stuck in areas of Love and money. The Universe is helping you by shaking up the mold. Notice what is shifting underneath the surface. Notice what new perspectives, ideas, and insights you have been receiving through signs and synchronicities from the Universe to change your life and get to it. The Universe is putting things in our lives back in order.
On Thursday, the Sun in Pisces trines Jupiter in Cancer, and we are aware of how the Lunar Eclipse is influencing our lives. Notice what comes up for you mid-week. There is an opportunity to recalibrate our intentions and efforts. There is an opportunity to expand your Light into the world. An opportunity to connect more deeply with your Soul’s purpose and mission on Earth. Jupiter is teaching us that we are capable of becoming more. We are capable of growing and expanding beyond what we think is possible, beyond the limitations of our current circumstances and our thinking. We are asked to step out of our normal thinking and into a place of trust, faith and surrender to the Greater Vision of the Universe for ourselves. We may have been walking in darkness, but now the Light returns. Light is shining the path forward. Pay attention. Notice the signs. Angels are around you. Trust the Universe. Trust your Soul.
On Friday, Venus enters Aries. Venus in Aries is in detriment which means that Venus is not comfortable in the sign of Aries. Aries is a warrior. Aries is direct, independent, impulsive, passionate, forceful and competitive. Venus is diplomatic and gentile by nature. Venus in Aries is a warrior princess that is not afraid to go for what she wants. Venus in Aries knows what she wants quickly and goes for it impulsively and recklessly. While Venus in Aries, we need to pay close attention to what we want, what we desire and what we are attracting into our lives. Venus in Aries is quick to jump to conclusions. Slow down. Don’t be hasty. Cool down the fires within you. Tame your fire. Guide your fire with cool head and heart. Aries is guided by fire and passion and in Venus it can be extremely seductive to go for what we immediately want. A good example of this would be seeing someone you really like and jumping into a relationship without getting to know the person. Get to know the person. Slow down. Good, lasting things take time and patience. Another example may be wanting something at a store so badly that you max out a credit card. While Venus is in Aries we can be impulsive and reckless. Practice patience and impulse-control during this period of time.
Venus in Aries is a highly creative time. Use your fire toward something productive. Create something new. Get inspired. Get fired up about some area in your life that needs improvement and get to work. Venus in Aries is highly competitive. Get competitive with the person in the mirror. Show yourself what you can do. Start something new and follow through.
On Saturday, the Sun in Pisces conjuncts Mercury in Pisces, and we get a mental reset. Mercury, representative of the mind enters the symbolic Temple of the Divine. Our Human Mind can connect more deeply with our Divine Mind. Our mind gets a spiritual download of positive energy. New ideas and insights are possible. Something comes to a resolution. A new perspective or a solution to a problem is attainable right now. There is an opportunity for communication to be clearer and more flowy. We are moving with flow and surrendering to the process of life as it unfolds. Pay attention to your dreams at this time and keep a dream journal as spiritual downloads from the Divine are possible at this time. This is also a great time to rest your mind. Practice mindfulness.
