Full Moon in Sagittarius

The Full Moon occurs on Thursday. The day and the Full Moon are ruled by Jupiter. So we are asked by the Universe to pay close attention to what Jupiter is doing in the sky.

Jupiter conjuncts Venus in the sign of Taurus at the 29th degree. Both planets are benefics (beneficial influences in our lives) however they are at the very last degree of Taurus which is often considered a Karmic Degree. We are graduating from a spiritual lesson. We are ending a Karmic Cycle. You may have held tight and for a long time but now the Universe is asking you, what lesson have you learned? What is your next step? The winds of Gemini are moving us forward. We are shown what needs to be released and let go of. We are shown what we have mastered and what we have learned. Now a choice must be made in the area of Taurus in our Astrological Charts. Every ending brings forth a new beginning. The end of a season leads us to a new season. A conjunction is a seeding moment. Both benefics are placing a new seed in the Taurus sector of our charts. The seed will take time to grow, but pay attention as it does.

A Full Moon is a culmination. A time when the Light of the Sun, the Soul, and the Moon, the body and emotions, meet. A time to reflect on the past and what has been learned. A time of release, reassessment and completion. A time of illumination, often something is revealed and our eyes are wide open to the truth. Emotions, frustrations and energy outpours come to the surface to heal. A time to face the truth. The Full Moon is happening in the sign of Sagittarius where we are given faith for the future and we are asked to see the bigger picture. Sagittarius, the Great Archer, points its arrows to the Universe. It sees the grand plan, focused on the greater picture. As the Moon becomes Full, we are given an important glimpse into a new future and we asked to expand into new horizons. But first, we must complete the cycle. Close the door and enter the new threshold. Notice how that is showing up for you in your own life.  

Another reason why the conjunction between Venus and Jupiter is highly significant and rare. It’s because Jupiter rules the Full Moon. Jupiter is about to change signs and enter into Gemini, when we will begin a new 12 year cycle. Think back to your life 12 years ago. What did you learn then? What are you being asked to learn now?

Another powerful significance for this Full Moon is that Venus will be coming into a Cazimi in early June of this year. When we will begin a brand new Venus Cycle. Venus rules our love life, our ability to receive and give love, our finances and resources, as well as the ways we find balance and cohesion in our lives.  Venus meeting with Jupiter this week, prepares the way for the Cazimi. When Venus will meet with the Sun. Both Jupiter and the Sun are significators of God. It is as if Venus, the Goddess of Love is meeting with God. It is a very healing and auspicious meeting and a big shift of energy in the Taurus and Gemini areas of our charts. New cycles and new beginnings will be possible. A new door will open.

Also, both benefics (Venus and Jupiter) we are changing elements. Thus, shifting gears from Earth into Air. Big deal for all air and fire signs. Taurus is an Earth Fixed sign, doesn’t like change and prefers the status quo. Taurus likes stability and comfort. While Gemini is a mutable, air sign. Mutable signs are flexible, adaptable, open and flowing. The mutable signs like movement and are in charge of helping us transition from one season into another. They help us move energy forward. Gemini is about the mind and communication. Thoughts and words move fast. Gemini is about learning, traveling, movement and shifting energies into new forms. Mercury, which rules Gemini, is a shape shifter. Something in our lives is shifting and taking a new form. A season ends and another one is soon to start. Notice how this is showing up in your life. Notice what is like clay in your hands, what you are molding, what you are creating…

This Full Moon brings a renewed sense of inspiration and adventure. We bravely stand at the edge of the mountain and look to new horizons. The stars guide the way forward. We know what is not working and we are able to take charge and change things. Jupiter rules faith. We have faith in ourselves and in the Universe. Jupiter rules truth. We stand in our truth, and the truth sets us free. Jupiter amplifies, expands and grows whatever it touches so notice what its touching in your chart. Jupiter brings new opportunities, good will and good fortune into our lives.  Both Jupiter and the Sun are significators of God. As Jupiter makes a visit into our charts, its as if God comes into the room of the Gemini sector in our charts. Pay attention to what is being shown to you as Jupiter transitions signs. A new homework will be given and new seeds will be planted. Watch what grows. Take out the weeds. Clean up. Make space. Paint a new picture for your life. Be willing to move forward. Be willing to be guided by your own inner wisdom and the Divine.

New thresholds and doorways are opening for us in our lives. Its important to pay attention and make the necessary changes to move ahead. A new hope is here.
