Eclipse season culminates with a powerful Full Moon in the sign of Scorpio. A final purge. A final reckoning. The closing of a door or chapter in your life is inevitable.  Notice how this energy is showing up in your life. Notice where the Fixed Signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius) are in your chart. These areas are active right now.

A Full Moon illuminates our consciousness. It awakens our awareness. We are awaken to what no longer serves us so as to make changes in our lives. We are shown the way forward. Things become visible. Clarity arrives. The Light of The Sun illuminates the Moon and we feel deep in our bones Truths that cannot be ignored.  We cannot close our eyes to what we see. This Full Moon brings realizations, revelations and insights into the area of our chart where Scorpio resides.

The Full Moon culminates what began on the last New Moon in Scorpio. Recall what was going on in your life during and around the last New Moon in Scorpio on November 13th 2023.  The New Moon in Scorpio occurred at 20 degrees 43 min. and was conjunct Mars opposite Uranus in Taurus.  Read my post on the New Moon in Scorpio back in November 2023. This Full Moon is square Pluto, which adds intensity and power to the already powerful energies of Scorpio.

Mars:

Mars is heat and fire. Heat under the collar. Heat inside the body. Heat in the belly. The fire that burns within is the same fire that can create passion, desire, impulse, drive, aggression and anger. Fire can be a powerful force that gives light and warmth or it can be destructive and uncontrolled. Mars teaches us to handle our inner fire.

 How are you handling your inner fire? What do you burn for? What lights you up? What fires are you tending to? In ancient times, we would sit and dance by the fire under the light of the Moon and tell stories and share time in community. It was a meditative and healing time. Now, there is no communal fire. We burn fires in the privacy of our own minds and hearts. Fire has gone inside. Are you tending to your fire? How are you tending to your passions, to your dreams, to your emotions and feelings? Is your fire still burning? Or has the fire died down? This Full Moon is teaching us to tend to the fire.  

Mars was in a water sign (Scorpio) during the New Moon in Scorpio back in November 2023 and is in a water sign (Pisces) now for the current Full Moon. Mars in water is about fire and heat inside our emotional body.  Fire transmutes the energies that we carry in our emotional bodies. It can create a sort of pressure cooker effect. Where do you feel that in your life right now? With the square to Pluto and Mars ruling the Full Moon, there is a feeling of compression, tension, pressure, intensity and a push and pull energy that is stimulating change, transformation and rebirth in our lives. It’s important to pay attention to how these pressures are showing up in your life. Where do you feel the pressure to change? To transform? To let go? To create? To become? Don’t ignore what arises during this time in your life. Face with Grace whatever shows up. Feel. Listen. Transform.

It is vital during this time to breath and to process what shows up. Feelings and emotions are like waves in the ocean. They eventually subside. But when the wave is high, we think we are the wave. But that is far from the Truth. You are not the waves. You are the peace of the ocean. The calm that resides deep in the waters of who you are. As you remember that, you can see the bigger picture and rise above the waves and into higher awareness of who you are and what your life is really about.  

Full Moon squares Pluto:

Pluto is a force to be reckoned with. It is the intensity and the force that pushes the caterpillar into a butterfly. It is the process of permanent alteration. Pluto is the deep catharsis during an exhale. Its the feeling when you really let go and surrender completely. It is the process of death, dying and rebirth.

This Full Moon is clearing away and purging away something from our consciousness and our lives. There is irreversible change happening. We may want to contain the fire, but the fire is strong and is burning and is speaking to us about what needs to change in our lives. We can not ignore what needs to be changed and transformed. We can not ignore what we must surrender and let go of. We can not refuse change. We can not push against life. Life is pushing us forward.

Notice what is breaking down. Notice what is being purified in your life and in your consciousness. What has been hidden and what is seen now. Awareness is rising from the depth of your being. As the tidal wave settles, clarity comes and the way is shown to you. Pay attention to life.

Jupiter is giving us Vision

Jupiter sextile to Mars, the ruler of the Full Moon, is asking us to see the bigger picture. Jupiter is asking us to think bigger and better. Jupiter is giving us a larger vision of our lives. What is the bigger picture for you? What is the vision that you have for your life? For your future? For the world? This Full Moon is also asking us to create a clear vision of where we are going. Every moment of your life right now is creating your future. How are you spending your time? Your time has value. Every action you take right now in the present moment is creating your future. What future are you creating for yourself? Notice what you are doing. Make changes as you need to. Life is calling us forward. What are you walking towards? Keep your eyes open.
