Full Moon, Lunar Eclipse at 05 degrees Libra 07 Min on March 25th 2024, 2:59 AM EDT

This Eclipse activates our relationships (partnerships of any kind) and points out the areas of our lives that are out of balance and in need of harmony. The Eclipse will be felt most by the Cardinal Signs (Aries, Libra, Cancer and Capricorn) and the Mutable Signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces). Notice what placements, planets, points and houses you have in these signs and particularly in the Aries/Libra Axis.

Aries and Libra

The Aries/Libra Axis points to the relationship between self and others. How are you relating to the world around you? How are your relationships? What is out of harmony? What is our of sync? Venus and Mars, both planetary rulers of this eclipse, are in the sign of Pisces. Activating the Virgo/Pisces Axis. Notice where Pisces falls in your chart. Notice where Libra and Aries are in your chart. The effects of this eclipse will be felt for the next 6 months or more.

Venus and Mars

The word that best describes Venus for me right now is Harmony. For Beauty, Love and Peace to exist we need harmony. If you’ve ever seen an orchestra play…life is very much like this…one instrument is played, then another and another…and the sounds of each unite and balance with each other in such a way that their perfect harmony is interpreted by us as beautiful music.  Venus is the principle of balance, harmony and cohesion that makes this happen.  Venus is the planetary ruler of the Lunar Eclipse occurring on March 25th, 2024. We are being asked to find harmony within ourselves and with others.  

Venus is also the principle of relationship and beauty. For example, imagine two people in a room. How do we connect them to one another? Well, one way would be to identify their similarities. Point out what they have in common. These similarities can become the glue that helps them to connect further to one another. However, as we all may know, true and lasting connections occur beyond commonalities. The lasting glue is the harmony created between opposites.

In nature, true beauty can be found in the harmony between opposites.  The perfect balance between light and dark gives us the magic of dusk and dawn. Feel the harmony between opposites the next time you sit and watch the sunset or sunrise. Notice the interplay of colors. Notice how the equilibrium between dark and light creates beautiful, exquisite skies.

So how can we attain harmony, balance, peace and beauty in our relationships with ourselves and others? That is the question that will be at the forefront of this Full Moon, Lunar Eclipse.  We are being taught how to find and restore balance and harmony in ourselves and in our relationships.

The Sun, North Node, Chiron and Mercury in Aries in the sky with the Lunar Eclipse, are inviting us to focus on the self. We are invited to bring healing to our mind and our speech and the ways we express ourselves with others. We are invited to forgive and practice compassion as the ruler of Aries, Mars, is in Pisces. Mars in Pisces asks us to face our feelings. Invites us to slow down, go deep within and explore the deep waters of our emotions. Time to clean the waters. The Moon and South Node in Libra asks us to surrender to a greater sense of balance, ease and flow. Invites us to allow that which is leaving from our lives to leave, and allow that which is coming in, to come in. What will that be? That will be revealed within now and the next six months. There is a deep sense of urgency with this Eclipse to allow the Universe to set things in order for us. How often do we really do that? How often do we let go, allow and surrender? Perhaps that is the gift of this eclipse that in our surrender and our release, our life is placed in true harmony by the Divine…like the music of an instrument releasing into the wind, so can we find the melody that harmonizes with us effortlessly. Perhaps when we stop seeking, that which we are looking for, will finds us.
