New Moon in Scorpio
New Moon in Scorpio occurs on November 13th, 2023 at 4:27 am at 20 degrees Scorpio 44 minutes. This New Moon is highly emotional. The Moon, representing our emotions, family life, and the public, conjunct Mars (anger, aggression, resentment, and war) and opposite Uranus (unpredictable outbursts, surprises, and erratic responses) can bring forth to the surface deep emotions that have been hidden or buried. Scorpio can represent the deep, dark parts of the collective and individual psyche. The shadow aspects of ourselves may be mirrored back to us at this time. This is a powerful time to face the shadows…a transformative period that can be used for deep, emotional, and spiritual healing.
Notice what life is asking you to transcend, transmute, and transform. Time to let go. Scorpio is deeply loyal to what it wants and holds tight even when it’s clear it’s time to let go. Don’t fight the process. Practice acceptance. Go with the flow of life. Trust Life. Notice what you are being asked to release, purge, and clean out. Purify your mind, heart, and life. It is a great time to do a deep dive into personal healing such as journal writing, Reiki, meditation, and other such methods of energy balancing.
The deepest and most powerful symbol of the sign of Scorpio is the White Dove…it represents our ability to go through the darkest night alone and into the depths of hell and get to the other side…from one of my favorite prayers:
“Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”
The White Dove represents the Power within you. The Power of Pure Goodness and Grace. The Light within your Spirit will see you through anything. You are made of Stars. We are made to shine the Light of Grace onto the world. We are made to be good and kind and loving and peaceful. This New Moon reminds us to connect to the purity within our hearts to rise above the darkest areas of life and our psyche, to rise above stress and worries and problems, and to see the lessons and the potential for growth. To rise above whatever comes our way with Grace. To remain strong in the center of any storm. We are made to be the Stars that Light the way in the darkest of nights. Today, find your Light, your goodness, your loving presence…Let it show up in the world through your smile…your words…your actions. May the White Dove of this New Moon bring Peace and Grace into your life and the world.
