The Sun in Leo is square Uranus in Taurus today. Navigate the energies of this day consciously and intentionally. The positive aspects of the Sun include our life force, conscious purpose, and willpower. It is the spark of Light within ourselves, that inspires growth, creativity, and vitality. The Sun invites us to live up to what we are each capable of becoming. Today, focus on the conscious creation of your present moment and the manifestation of a positive future ahead of you.

The negative aspects of the Sun include selfish behavior, egoism, and pride. Today, Uranus connects with the Sun in a tense, stress-building way. When these two planets connect in this way, there is a disruptive, agitated, and nervous energy in the atmosphere around us. Uranus disrupts energy so as to create a breakthrough, a breakdown, and an opening for new growth. What is no longer working will be obvious today. Pay attention.

Stay grounded and balanced. Watch your temper and that of other people. Don’t take things personally. Don’t abuse your power today. Watch for pride in yourself or others. Tame your ego and the wanting to go at it alone (or to be right) and realize “no man is an island”.  Watch for drama and stay away from it. Connect to your heart, stay present and loving. The heart is fresh like morning dew with the energies of the Venus Cazimi, so align with the goodness within you and within others. Practice compassion, mercy, and forgiveness. Navigate this day with kindness.

On a larger scale, the Sun Uranus square, helps us get clear about who we are at the core of our being by showing us who we no longer are or what no longer serves us in our lives. The Universe is always working in your favor, even if at first glimpse it doesn’t look that way. Trust that everything that happens is for a reason.
