This Week In Astrology
This week the predominant qualities are Earth and Air. This is a week about getting things done, moving ahead, and grounding your ideas into concrete actions. We are prone to overthinking or overanalyzing things at this time. Step away from that and go for a walk instead. Journal write your ideas. Get your mind clear and focus on what you want and where you are going. We are getting prepared for the month ahead when Mercury (our mind), Mars (our desires and energy) Venus (our heart), and the Sun (our soul) will be in the sign of Aquarius. The energies of Pluto in Aquarius will be revealed in our lives next month as the personal planets receive the energies of Aquarius.
Aquarius is a fixed air sign, called the water bearer. It pours the waters of consciousness into the collective. It is the last of the air signs so it is the most solid form of air, it examines all the data gathered by the previous air signs and creates solid structures from those ideas. It is the inventor and scientist seeking to test its theories. It is the idealist spreading its ideals onto the world. Aquarius is classically ruled by Saturn, which represents reality and form. So Aquarius seeks to bring ideals into reality and form. Aquarius is a progressive, future-oriented sign. It is highly skeptical and intellectual by nature. However, it deeply cares about the greater good of humanity. It focuses its energy on social pursuits, social causes, and the manifestation of its ideals.
At its worst, Aquarius can be aloof, anarchistic, antisocial, opinionated, fanatical, and stubborn. At its best, it is altruistic, innovative, original, liberating, and a powerful agent of change in the world. They stand up for their beliefs and bring forth social justice and change. Examples of Aquarius people: Abraham Lincoln, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Barack Obama, Winston Churchill, Mahatma Gandhi, Nelson Mandela and Oprah Winfrey. How will you use the energies of Aquarius in your life?
