Thoughts over coffee: Aries Stellium

I was having a deep conversation with a dear friend of mine yesterday over coffee about the current Astrology in the sky.  I want to share some thoughts with you.

We are still feeling the Aries Eclipse. As well as the Saturn conjunct Mars, which is teaching us to deal with the under currents of emotions within us and in the world. We are asked to take ownership of our energy and our feelings and emotions. We have an opportunity to heal with Chiron in Aries, as we learn to deal with the fires that burn within and in the world.

Deal with anger, resentment, pain, loss and the things you don’t want to look at or face. Face them with compassion and kindness and friendly ear to listen to your heart and the heart of others. It is in owning our energy that we can find true independence and the ability to be a leader of our own lives, which are some of the many teachings of the current Aries North Node.  Aries is about independence, creativity, leadership, selfhood and living life from the True Self.

At first glance, Aries seems to point out the importance of being yourself, doing things your way, going your own way and being self-centered. But if we look deeper, the actual teachings seems to be (in my opinion) for us to be our TRUE selves….for you to show up in the world as your Soul on Earth. Who is this self? That is the work right now. To get to know your Soul. To get to know your self at the deepest level, to explore the depth of the innermost self within you and in doing so recognize your calling, your purpose and your reason to be here on Earth. It is an unprecedented calling right now for all us…our Souls are calling us…the Light of the Sun from the Eclipse and the North Node, is asking us to remember who we are and why we are here on Earth right now.

Look at the state of the world. War. People fighting over who’s right and who’s wrong all over. Reacting out of pain, revenge, anger, righteousness. Seeking to take justice in our hands. This way of doing things is not leading us anywhere. We keep going in circles. Fairly recently, I was told by the Angels, “you are not to punish. Only God punishes.” It was unsettling to hear that, very hard pill to shallow. I’m not a religious person whatsoever. But I hear Angels speak. And their words were loud and clear in my ears.  I trust what I see with my eyes and hear with my ears and know in my heart to be so. I see and hear Angels. So, after I hear that I have been personally working on this teaching. I’m here just sharing how I am applying this teaching in my own life. For example, when I drive.

I catch myself wanting to punish people with my words and thoughts when I drive when they drive slow, when they cut me off, etc. Instead, what I do now is that I pray. I pray for them and I pray for me. I pray that God guide my thoughts and my words to be of peace and kindness. I ask God to protect them and protect me from my thoughts and words.  I look at the undercurrents of my own emotions and deal with the real reasons for frustration and reactivity. I take ownership of my state of being.

And then I remember that my Dad told me once, “don’t curse, don’t say bad words,” and I never forget his eyes when he said that to me. So I do my best, although I’m human, to not curse or say bad words. Words have energy. My goal is simply to just be a better human being…to be my Soul as often as possible. The teaching from the Angels are helping me learn patience and humility. Somedays are harder than others but I will not punish…not even in thought. And if I do, I ask for forgiveness and become more watchful of myself. It is not my place to do so.

So when I was talking to my friend over coffee yesterday, I thought about this teaching and current state of affairs in the world. And then I saw that maybe the Teachings of the Sun, North Node, Venus and Chiron in Aries….is for us to step away from living from the Ego/Personality self and live more from the Higher, Wiser Self within us. To be our Souls on Earth. To lead others and ourselves from the Higher Self, the Soul. To do what is right even when it is not easy. To be a true leader to not react out of anger, fear, pain, suffering. To not retaliate. Period. I know its hard but I think that is what is being asked of us right now. To step up to the plate and do better because we can, if we choose to, do better. To find another way to deal with conflicts within ourselves and in the world. We can figure it out together.

So look over your own life. Get to know the innate goodness in you. Get to know in the quiet moments your Higher, Wiser Self.  Listen to your heart. Listen to the still small voice in you. When you are given a choice to act from the Ego or to act from your Soul…do your best to show up as who you really are.

May your words match the truth and goodness in your heart. May your actions reflect the Light of your Soul on Earth. You are good. People around you are good. Yes, we forget. Yes, they forget. But we can remind each other. We can help each other see the goodness. There is goodness. Find it. Be it. Stand strong in that knowing. See it in nature. See it in your pets and animals. See it in the people around you. See it in yourself. We live in unprecedented times. The time is now. The world needs you.
