Venus in Virgo and the South Node of Fate

There is a powerful opportunity right now to heal and open your heart.

Venus, the planet of Love, is moving into a conjunction with the South Node of Fate this week. The South Node is the place where we surrender, detach and relinquish what no longer serves us. As Venus moves closer to the South Node, we are being invited to notice the state of our heart and our relationships. What are you letting go? And what is letting go of you? Notice the leaves naturally changing color in your life and allow them to fall. Something is now being released and surrendered from our consciousness and our lives.

What have you been learning about Love? About relationships? About your heart’s needs and desires? Notice what mental and emotional patterns within you need to change and be transformed. Also notice the places within you that hurt, need care and support. Heart wounds may come up during this period of time for you to look at, assess, learn from and heal. We have an opportunity to transform our heart space. We have an opportunity to learn from Love and relationships. We are becoming wiser and more mature so we may make better choices in all our relationships.

Venus is in the sign of Virgo right now, asking us to be truthful with ourselves. We are asked to be discerning and practical about matters of Love and relationships. Notice what works and what doesn’t. Virgo teaches us to perfect, improve and craft carefully our lives. Notice your life. What needs perfecting? What needs improvement? We are asked to attend to our lives, our hearts and our relationships. What do my relationships need right now? What does my heart need right now? Notice the vulnerable, soft spaces in the heart. Notice the heart wounds that you carry and the wounds that need care. Attend to the wounds. Notice what others need from you. Attend to your relationships.

Virgo is a healer. In the sign of Virgo, we have the opportunity to discover our inner healer. There is a place within you that knows exactly what you need. What do you need right now? Listen to that place of wisdom and sit with your heart. It’s ok to be more vulnerable, soft and open. Be gentle with yourself. Place your hands on your heart, let the warmth soothe you and sit with silence and stillness. In the calm, balance and peace are restored.

Virgo also teaches us about judgment. In the pursuit of becoming a better version of ourselves we may judge the person we have been. Release judgement. Learn from your mistake. Forgive your past for it can not be changed. Forgive others - they do the best they can with what they know. Forgive yourself - you do better when you know better. Venus in Virgo teaches us to be fully present with life right now. Be in the now. Be present with the choices you are now making in your life now. Life is occuring in the now.

Virgo teaches us about service. How can I be of service to others in my life? To myself? To my heart? To my body? To my life? True Love - Serves. True Love - reciprocates. How can I serve? How can I extend Love and Care more fully to myself and others? How can I reciprocate in my relationships? What is the state of Love in my life (in all areas of life)? How can I be a better lover? friend? parent? daughter/son? coworker? human being?

Virgo is the sign of the writer. While Venus travels through Virgo, we have an invitation to write a new story about our Love and relationships. Notice what you have learned. Notice what you are now learning. Feel gratitude for the lessons and the growth you are receiving. Notice what you now desire and wish for in your life. What is the new story you want to write? Close the book on chapters left unfinished and allow a new story to naturally rise from the wisdom of your heart.

The Universe right now is helping us. We are given the gift of vulnerability, emotional intelligence, heart healing and inner wisdom. So, this week allow yourself to surrender, release, and let go. Move forward gently like water cascading down a stream. Let the river of life carry you onward. May the waters in the stream settle and may you discover a new Sun rising in the center of your heart. May you open your heart to healing and be restored in the Light of a new dawn.
