Venus Square Saturn

Delays, blockages or obstacles may become obvious this weekend. Reality might be difficult to face as Venus meets with Saturn in a stress inducing, hard aspect today. We may feel lacking in some area of our lives. We may feel the wanting, needing or longing of something we can not grasp or hold on to. Our desires seem far away and hard to attain. We may feel disheartened.  We notice what is missing or lacking in our Venus area of the Natal Chart (love and financial life).  Saturn, the grim reaper and Lord of Time, is having us face the raw, naked truth of our circumstances so we may take the necessary steps to change things. Reality is saying, “checkmate.”

It is important at this time to hold on to faith. The word faith at its core means “to know.” Trust what you know. Trust the deep knowing in your heart. Trust that although the sky is dark and the Moon and Stars are hidden, the Sun will rise and another day and another opportunity will come your way.  It is out of darkness that the strongest seeds sprout. You are a strong seed.

We may feel more emotional, touchy and vulnerable this weekend. It is imperative to connect with your Soul and the Divine. Nurture yourself. Meditate. Journal. Walk. Pray. Allow yourself to feel your feelings.  Find creative ways to create more joy, peace and harmony within and all around you.

Creativity can support us. Great something new. If you have community, connect to your community. If you don’t have community, take steps to find your tribe. No one is an island. Connect to friends, pets, family and yourself.

Use these energies wisely. Pain and emotional discomfort are information. Explore how you really feel about things. Listen to what your heart is asking you. Befriend your heart. Notice what hurts. Feel to heal. Attend to yourself. Notice what needs your attention. Care for the parts of you that need love, encouragement, friendship, forgiveness and tenderness. Give yourself the support and nurturing you need. Give yourself the love you need. There is a valuable opportunity in deeply connecting with the Self and the Divine during this time.

Saturn is a powerful, formidable Teacher. We are being taught that in order to create our reality we must be willing to face it completely. We are being taught to allow things to be as they are as we move towards the things that we want. There is no use in fighting reality. There is no use in fighting yourself or others. The path of peace is found in acceptance.

Know and trust that soon enough, the waves of life will calm, the Sun will rise again  and the way forward will be clear. Every storm eventually subsides, I stand with you, holding on to the umbrella in the meantime…
