Venus Sun Cazimi 2023

Venus Retrograde will conjunct the Sun on August 13th, 2023 and a new door opens. This will be an inferior conjunction, which happens approximately every 19 months. Venus is closest to Earth during an inferior conjunction, so we can feel her power more. Venus retrogrades back to the same astrological degree (plus or minus 2 to 3 degrees) every 8 years. Think back to August 2015 and 9.5 months after that, what occurred in your life then? What seeds did you plant? What did the Universe bring into your life? What was the Universe teaching you then?

On August 13, 2023, a new threshold opens, and we are invited to step into a new path. We begin a brand new 8-year cycle!

August 13, 2023, is a day to seed a new beginning in the areas of your life ruled by Venus (Love, relationships, money, values, desires, beauty, and how you relate to the world). Venus will meet the Sun in Cazimi, which is an astrological term that means that during a conjunction the planet seems to be “in the heart” of the Sun. When Venus meets the Sun in Cazimi, it is as if she is invited into the Throne of the Sun, the Heart of the Highest Light, and she is infused with this Light. Love shines brighter onto Earth. The Light of the Divine enters our hearts.

Venus represents our ability to Love unconditionally. The Sun represents the Light of the Divine and the spark of our own Soul. When both meet so close, it is an opportunity to soften the walls of the personality and enter into the heart of the Soul. We can encounter our wisdom. We can heal our hearts. We are, on this day, invited to enter the Throne, together with Venus, and co-create with the Universe. We can enter our hearts, discover our innate goodness, expand our consciousness, and create a new chapter in our life, guided, from the center of our being.

Venus, as the morning star, rises from the East with the Sun…like the phoenix from the ashes of the past into a bright Light onto the sky…shining forth hope, faith, and insight as we enter a new dawn. Venus as the morning star is a warrior, a warrior of Love, Peace, and Harmony. She strengthens our self-love and self-value so that we may shine our gifts onto the world. She lends a hand to those parts of ourselves that have been hurt, forgotten, abandoned, and lost…she brings us home to ourselves. Venus heals and empowers our hearts. Venus teaches Love through understanding, compassion, and forgiveness. Unconditional Love teaches us the understanding that we must not blame or point the finger at others but instead invites us to learn to take responsibility for the way we respond to life. We humbly take the lesson and move forward.

Take the time on August 13th to meditate. Receive consciously the Light coming from the Universe to you.
