Your Weekend Astrology
@anamariapinedacom

We had a Mercury Cazimi on Friday, and the mind got a reset. Like a breath of fresh air, the Light of the Sun illuminated the mind with new energy. A Cazimi is a conjunction, a new beginning and a new seed. A seed is planted in the vast field of our minds. There is the potential of new ideas, new insights and revelations from the Divine as the energy unfolds somewhere in our lives.

The Moon in Leo will activate the Mercury Cazimi through the entire weekend. Something has been illuminated for us to look at. Something in our lives is calling our attention. What needs your care and presence right now?

We have an opportunity to nurture, heal and restore our minds. It is a great time to clear weeds from the gardens of our minds and plant new seeds of possibilities. The weeds can be the ways we perceive ourselves and our lives that no longer serve us. How do you view your life? What needs to change and be transformed? The new seeds can be new ideas, new perspectives and new ways of engaging with the world.  What new seeds are you now wanting to plant in your life?

I meditated on the day of the Mercury Cazimi, and I read the following quote by Eckhart Tolle: “You find peace not by rearranging the circumstances in your life, but by realizing who you are at the deepest level.” I was recently thinking of making a lot of physical, external changes in my life, and the quote woke me up (which tends to happen during a Cazimi, we get woken up by the Divine to something in our lives – we come to see things clearly). Life doesn’t change because we change it’s external, outer form. It changes when we change. When we change our perception of the world, our experience of the world changes. True change only happens within.

This quote reminded me of what years of meditation had taught me and I had forgotten. Whatever you are seeking, it will not come from the outer world…it will come from within. This isn’t just spiritual “talk”, it’s the truth. When we are willing to take responsibility for our mind and the ways we think, perceive and engage with the world around us, then the world changes. We see life differently. We experience people, places, and things differently. For example, if you are in a state of peace your experience of a traffic jam changes. Traffic didn’t change; YOU changed. Your attitude changed. And that’s the key. The realization that you have always been the key to the experience of life you wish to have.

Trees are great teachers for this. Think about it. A tree cannot move from where it is planted on its own. It accepts where it is planted and therefore makes peace with its surroundings. Year after year. Season after season. Storm after storm. The tree remains at ease and at peace with itself and its surroundings. Trees are indeed great teachers.

So, this weekend, as the Moon activates the Mercury Cazimi, notice your life. How can I change my perception, my attitude, and my mindset to one that can help me feel better about my life and circumstances? Whatever is stressful for you, or you don’t like in your life, is there a way to first change the way you look at it? Of course, there are things in our lives that require physical transformations. Like cutting the lawn, it won’t cut itself. But for the most part is a change in thinking that is needed. Play with these concepts. Ask the Universe to teach you and keep me posted. We are in this together. We are always learning and evolving and becoming better versions of ourselves. The beauty of Astrology is that is just another way for God to speak to us, and connect to Source. God/Universe/Source is always speaking to you and to me. Pay attention and you’ll hear it. Pay attention and apply the lessons.
