Fate and Nodal Axis
I saw three families. One included two people and a baby. One included a large group of people including elders and several children and teenagers. And the third included a single woman and her dog. I looked at them for several minutes and I thought about fate. I thought about what I have learned about fate from Astrology. I have seen things that I can’t explain, that are beyond my comprehension but that are absolutely true. I have seen fated events and encounters written in the Astrological chart. The symbols on the chart showing clearly moments in time that were meant to occur. Tragedies. Deaths. Births. Successes. Failures. Happy moments. But most importantly spiritual lessons. I have learned that some things are written in the Universe and are meant to be. There are moments that are fated. Some of our life has already been planned before we are born. And then there are moments that are a blank canvas and are up to us to create. It is important to know the difference. It is important to see the events that unfold in our lives and understand what we can change and what we can not change.
It is important to understand the events that are fated and have marked important shifts and transformations in our lives. It is important to learn the lessons. So, when I saw the three families I thought: What if the people we meet we meet for a reason? What if the families and groups we are part of is for a reason and by design? I thought how many times we wish for something different than what we have been given. How many times we wish for a different life? And yet the life that we have is exactly what we need to become what we are meant to be. It is the soil that makes our inner seed grow.
What if the life that you have right now is serving a higher purpose? You may want that new home, new car, new job, new child, new partner…new something different than what life is now…but what if where you are is exactly where you need to be? What is the timing of the unfolding is just right? If we pause for a moment and consider our life exactly as it is then we can see its purpose, its greater reason. We stop arguing with life and accept things as they currently are. Our eyes open. Our hearts listen. We can see how the life that currently is unfolding is serving a Higher Purpose in our lives. We are able to learn the lessons. And in the learning find peace and resolution in life’s becoming. We can accept our fate as we allow the petals of our lives to reveal what is next for us.
I have also learned that when some part of your life has served its purpose. The chapter falls out of your life like a brown leaf on a tree falls to the ground. Our life sheds skin. What no longer serves us simply falls away like sand out of our hands. We can not fight fate. At some point in our lives we must also learn to accept what leaves our lives as well as what enters it. Life moves like the ocean. Waves come in and waves come out. Fate is the rhythm of the Universe. And there is opportunity for peace in the flow and the dance of the beat of the Divine Drum.
On July 26, 2026, the Lunar Nodes also known as the Nodal Axis of Fate will shift from the Pisces-Virgo axis to the Aquarius-Leo axis, where they will remain until March 2028. Often we can experience as a change in lessons, as the end of a chapter. From now until the end of July notice what spiritual lessons you are learning. Notice how the people, places, circumstances and situations in your life are serving a greater purpose. Seek to see the larger picture of your life. Pause and reflect on the why. Why is this happening? How is this serving my Greater Good or that of others around me? What am I learning? Who am I becoming?
The Aquarius-Leo Axis will teach us about attachment and detachment. About how we hold on and how we let go. About the dichotomy of loyalty to the mind versus the heart, and about the creative process. About external validation versus internal validation. About the balance between mind and heart. Notice how some of these lessons may already be showing up in your life.
For now, simply notice the life that is here. Be present with your own life. Can you find joy in it? Can you find meaning and purpose in it, just as it is without changing a single thing? What if this is as good as it gets, could you make it work? Can you grow where you have been planted? There will be a time when things may be different but for now. Move with ease and grace. Swim with the waves, perhaps dance with the ocean of life. Enjoy life as it unfolds. Welcome the lessons. The easy lessons. The hard lessons. Know the entire ocean surrounds you, merge with the sea of life and fate, and know that you…little drop of ocean water…never walk alone.
