Week Ahead Astrology
The tide is changing this week. We have had time to review, reflect, plan and dream. We have been learning to get clear on what we want and need. We have identified the changes we need to make. And now, as Mars, the planet of action changes into the sign of Aries, its time for action.
Mars is raw energy and in Aries the energy takes shape. The spark is initiated and the fire is lit. Mars is force. A force from within awakes. Fire rises from within and illuminates the path ahead. Clarity arrives. Vision becomes clear. Now we know what to do. Inspired action leads the way forward.
Mars enters Aries on April 9th, initiating a period of powerful change individually and collectively. Aries is the sign of new beginnings. We are taking action steps toward a new beginning. We stand at the starting point of a new path, dream or goal. Mars in Aries activates all the Fire, Air and Cardinal signs. Know what you want. Know what direction to take.
The Last Quarter Moon occurs on April 10th and both Mars and the Last Quarter Moon are asking us to get clear on what we want and where we are going. We are seeing the fruits of our choices and actions. And those of the people, places or things around us. The Last Quarter Moon invites us to assess our progress, revise plans, change habits, declutter, and rethink something in our lives. Notice the outcomes of actions taken. Notice the fruits and weeds in the garden. Notice what needs forgiving and letting go. Notice the harvest. Mars in Aries is asking us to begin again. Start new. Start fresh. Take a deep breath and keep going in the direction we have chosen now.
Both energies this week invite forward, accelerated movement. It is important during the Mars in Aries transit not to impulsive and reckless but to be smart and think about the consequences of your actions. Plan. Prepare. Be wise. Mars in Aries wants it now. And somethings take time. Practice patience. Understand Divine Timing. Focus on what is immediate and move with intention and attention.
On April 14th, Mercury will also enter Aries, and the mind is ready for action. All systems go. Mercury rules movement. Thus, the areas of life that have felt stagnant and blocked will start shifting and changing. The wind moves the rocks. Even if we can’t see it. The seed is growing under the ground and slowly will become a sprout. Pay attention to the subtle movements of change and transformation in your life. Pay attention to the lessons. Both Mercury and Mars are signaling that April is a month of action. A month of change. Be mindful of what changes you need to make. Be open to the Universe and its guidance. Be lead. Be held. Be cared for. We are getting prepared for the upcoming New Moon in Aries. A brand new life is emerging. This is pivotal month. Keep your eyes open. Keep your hands on the steering wheel. Be ready. And know that anything…anything is possible right now.
