Pisces

The Sun enters Pisces today. Happy Birthday Pisces! The Sun in Astrology is symbolic of the Soul’s Light, Purpose and Potential in a lifetime. While the Sun travels through the sign of Pisces. We have an opportunity to connect to the essence of our being and in that reconnecting receive a renewed sense of personal direction.

Pisces is the last sign of the Zodiac. Pisces is boundless, dissolving, flowing and reflective like water. Pisces energy is a mirror.  It is hard to figure out as it can be evasive and nebulous. It is ephemeral, dreamy, idealistic and poetic. Yet, intangible, elusive and changeable like a chameleon. Yet it is also gentle, compassionate, intuitive, transcendent, and healing.

While the Sun travels through Pisces, we have an opportunity to connect more deeply with the subtle, intuitive, hidden essence of our being. We can explore the energy within us that is behind the thinker and the doer. We can connect more deeply with our Soul and Spirit/God/Universe.

In Pisces, we surrender the Ego to the Soul by looking at our own shadow. And in that process many people may fall into self-destructive patterns such as addictions, procrastination, escapism, delusions, confusions, and victim/savior/martyr complexes. While the Sun is in Pisces we can look closely at the ways we tend to escape and avoid our current reality. We can become aware of our triggers and the ways we self-soothe.

We can become aware of how we handle the more subtle aspects of ourselves. The hidden aspects. The shadows. The parts of ourselves we don’t let others see. The parts of ourselves we don’t let ourselves see. In order to connect more deeply with who you really are at the core and underneath the surface of the personality and body, we must go deeper within.

There is a part of you that hasn’t aged or changed across time and space. A deep, inner part that is wise and eternal. That’s the part of you that is awakened during this period of time.  In the sign of Pisces we can enter the Temple of Soul and retreat into the calming waters of our own Spirit.

Imagine it this way: Your Soul is the seed planted by the Divine within you and your personality/ego is the tree that has grown from the seed. Go back to the seed to understand the tree you have grown. Do you like the tree you’ve become? If not, time to explore the seed for guidance. Why? So, you can know what fruits you wish to bear now. So, you can know what branches and weeds need trimming. This is the opportunity right now, to receive clear guidance from within. Get to know seed and listen to what it has to say now about who you are, who you have become and about the path ahead of you.
