Weekly Astrology 2/16-2/22
On Friday this week Saturn conjuncts Neptune in Aries. The transit has been building this whole week. The two meet close enough, for a short period of time, around summer last year. Think back to what themes, people, places, things and spiritual lessons were playing out in your life then. Notice what was going on in your life last summer and notice the circumstances and situations playing out in your life now. What new insights and awareness have you had this week? What new doors have opened and which have closed? Notice the spiritual lessons.
Saturn helps us face life, while Neptune helps us escape reality and step out of reality. Saturn stabilizes and grounds like a rock, while Neptune dissolves and dissipates like fog. They are two very different frequencies and yet they are meeting in the sign of Aries at this time. Somewhere in our lives we are asked to see and experience life in a new way. Something is dissipating, while at the same time something new is being built either within you or in your life.
Aries teaches us about the self-reliance, while Libra (its opposite sign, which will also be influence during this time) teaches us about relating to others. In libra we learn about relationships, in Aries we learn about ourselves. The Aries/Libra axis will be activated during this time. We are learning lessons about who we are, what we want and how we show up in relationships. All Cardinal (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn), Fire (Aries, Leo and Sagittarius) and Air signs (Gemini, Libra and Aquarius) will feel the conjunction between Neptune and Saturn in Aries.
A conjunction between two planets is a seed. A moment in time when something gets started or birthed within us, in our lives or in the collective consciousness (world arena). Something is beginning to grow, notice where it shows up in your life. Plant conscious seeds. New habits. New perspectives. New ideas. New opportunities. New adventures. This week, profound change begins as we have a powerful Solar Eclipse that occurs on Tuesday at 7:01am EST in the sign of Aquarius and will influence our lives for the next 6 months up to a year. In addition, this week we are also starting a new era with the upcoming conjunction between Saturn and Neptune in Aries, which will impact our lives for the next 36 years! Expect changes in your life and in the world.
The Solar Eclipse, which is also a New Moon, occurs in the sign of Aquarius and will activate all Air Signs (Gemini, Libra and Aquarius) as well as all Fixed Signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius). Pay attention to your Natal Chart Placements as these will be highlighted during this period.
Aquarius is known as the Water or Cup Bearer. Its symbol is a figure pouring life giving water from a jar (amphora vessel). However, it is not literally water that is pouring out. The water pouring out of the jar represents the flow of knowledge, truth, innovation, wisdom and ideas from the Universal waters of consciousness down into the Human plane of consciousness and existence. It is the intellectual pouring out of knowledge from the Divine into the Human.
In the sign of Aquarius, we have attained knowledge. We use the power of our intellect for the betterment of ourselves and humanity. Aquarius is innovative, inventive, progressive and future thinking. While in the sign of Capricorn we learn to reach the highest peak of the mountain of our potential, in Aquarius we share what we have learned in that journey. We pour out the waters of our wisdom and share them with our fellow sisters and brothers. In Capricorn we are concerned about mastery of self, and in Aquarius we are concerned about the betterment of society and humanity as a whole. In Aquarius, is about taking humanity to the next level.
In the sign of Aquarius, we confront old belief systems, ideas and mental/emotional constructs that no longer serve us. We experiment. We innovate. We rebel. Aquarius seeks reform and social change. We can clearly see this in the world right now, and this Solar Eclipse will further emphasize that.
Somewhere in your life the Archetype of Aquarius is present right now. Aquarius is asking you to look at what you have learned so far in your life. Question your mind and emotions. Breakthrough whatever holds us back, and step into freedom. The path is clear. Notice where you are being redirected. Listen to the wisdom of your intuition, pouring out of the Divine within you. Saturn-Neptune Conjunction in Aries
The other major Astrological event this week takes place at the later part of the week. The Saturn-Neptune conjunction in Aries will last for 36 years, until 2061. Somewhere in your life, a new era is dawning. Pay attention to the dying leaves in your life and notice the new seeds sprouting. Notice the new people, places and things manifesting in your life. Notice the doors that open and those that close. This week we are seeing how the Saturn-Neptune conjunction will manifest in our lives. The change may occur at a subtle pace much like the Sun rising in the East. Change sometimes begins slowly, but next thing you know the Sun is completely out, and just like that change can creep on us. Pay attention to the signs, synchronicities and subtle ways the Universe speaks to us every day.
This conjunction will impact all Fire Signs (Aries, Leo and Sagittarius) and Cardinal Signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn). Neptune is asking us to connect to Higher Dimensions of Awareness within ourselves. Neptune is asking us to connect to our Soul so we may know what we which to build with the help of Saturn. Saturn represents what is real and tangible, Neptune what is ethereal, ephemeral and spiritual. In other words, your Soul wants to build something new and lasting.
On a personal level, Spirit is working through us to manifest a new version of ourselves and our lives. The changes you have been wanting to make now are taking place. Neptune is showing us a new dream and a new hope. Saturn is helping us make dreams into reality. Saturn is hard work, perseverance, persistence and discipline. Saturn in Aries is asking us to bring focus back to the self. Restructure the self and become the best version of yourself on Earth. Saturn will be in Aries for the next three years.
At the worldwide level, a new consciousness (Neptune) and a new reality (Saturn) is emerging. Whether it’s AI or Alien intelligence. Expect more global change. More people wanting to work together for the betterment of society. More countries working together in new ways not seen before. There is a worldwide call for peace and oneness. Society may look very different in the next 36 years.
