Week Ahead Astrology 3/16-3/22

We stand in the threshold of a transition this week. The Universe is moving the wheel of Fate and we don’t get to know which direction. Be observant.  Be ready.

The Sabian Symbol for the New Moon taking place on Wednesday this week, is “A Prism.” The 28th degree of Pisces speaks of receptivity. The ability to allow Light to flow through us and out of us into the world. The Soul moves through the entire Zodiac in a lifetime. Each sign it encounters in its journey, an opportunity for growth and learning. The last sign of the Zodiac is Pisces. It represents the doorway through which we merge back into the Sea of Consciousness. The place where we surrender and let go of the Ego to merge one with the Light of Spirit. The Prism speaks of the first steps in that process. The Ego is shed and the Light discovered within. As we begin to see our selves for Who We Truly Are, the Ego and the masks fade away and what truly matters to the Soul remains. The Prism speaks of surrender to the Real Self but more importantly the ability to hold the space in between this world and the world we came from. At some point in your lifetime you awaken to Who You Really Are and why you are here on Earth. You become aware of your lifespan and the lessons learned along the path. And you begin to tie the threads into a single tapestry, and then your life makes sense. You understand why and how you got to where you are. And now from this place we are getting ready to pivot.

The New Moon this week is an opportunity to take stock of your life, to awaken to deeper understandings and truths within you. To know what to hold on to and what to let go of. Imagine a room at night and watch the Light of the Sun enter the space, just like that Light is entering our consciousness. Helping us see and become aware of what matters to now understand. The insights and awareness birthing within you during this New Moon cycle are helping you to get a clearer perspective. The mind is creating space for new thoughts and ideas. The heart is creating space for more love and compassion. In Pisces we clean up shop. This New Moon asks us to make space for something new to birth in our lives.

The New Moon Chart displays a Mars-North Node conjunction in the sign of Pisces. Our sense of direction is intuitive. Something deep within us is pointing us to our own North Star. If you have been lost, you are now being found. Your own Soul is finding you, holding you by the hand and leading you into the path where you need to be. Watch for signs and synchronicities and listen to Divine when Divine speaks to you.

God and the Angels speak to all of us. When you are quiet and still. When you are willing and ready to listen. A profound Peace can enter you and, in that Peace, a Silence that speaks. Imagine taking a clear glass cup to a river and placing it near the edge of the river, the water enters without you pushing or pressing for it to come in. Just like that – the Divine Presence enters your awareness. It is always here. Waiting for you to bring the cup. This New Moon provides us with an opportunity to deepen our connection with Source, so our life can be guided by our Soul and we can deepen our understanding of the meaning and purpose of our life.

This week we also have the Sun entering Aries and Mercury stationing direct on March 20th.  As the Sun enters Aries, our minds are illuminated with inner guidance and forward direction.  This day marks the Spring Equinox, a powerful threshold and road map of change and transformation. In Ancient times the chart of the Spring Equinox was used to predict major upcoming events for countries, world leaders and royalty, as well as for individuals. Mercury stations direct in the sign of Pisces on March 20th. Notice what placements you have the end of the Mutable Signs, as these places in your life will be greatly influenced by this energy shift. Mercury represents our ability to communicate, understand and interact with our environment. Mercury represents movement. Notice what moves you are inclined to make at this time. Notice what new thoughts and insights are present in your mind now. Notice what new people, places or things have appeared in your life since the retrograde began this month. Notice who or what has returned in your life, and who or what you have released.

Mercury is not strong in Pisces. Details may still be fuzzy and unclear. We may still be confused and need more information in some area of our lives. The fog may still be thick somewhere in your life. If that is the case, the New Moon and forward movement of Mercury invite us to Light the inner lamp in our heart and follow our intuition. Your gut never lies. If something doesn’t feel right. Listen. Listening to your body. It speaks and tells you what you need to know. As Mercury moves into Aries soon, there will be a major shift in the energies. We will have more energy, clarity and ability to act. Your Soul is preparing you for your next stage in life. Your Soul is guiding you right now, pay attention to your inner sense of direction.

Mercury will be in Pisces until April 14th, we have time to get sharpen our intuitive sense. While Mercury is in Pisces move like a stream. Slow. Gently. Steady. Move around the stones in your life. Quiet your worries, concerns and fears and be still. Be still so you may listen to the Cosmic waters speaking to you. There’s a lot going on in the world right now. A lot of confusion. But if you stay present in your own consciousness, connect to the deepest wisdom within you, you won’t loss your way. You will see the bigger picture and how you fit in it. Every strand of the tapestry of life matters, and you are a strand in the greater purpose and meaning of the Universe. There is a reason you where made. There is something only you can do and bring to the world. Find what that is. Not every purpose is grandiose. Some of us can make a difference with a kind gesture, a smile and a gentle spirit.

May this week awaken within you what you need to see and understand. May you be aware of your purpose and may Angels walk through the Earth with you. May you know you are never alone.
