This week we celebrate the Sun entering the sign of Virgo, activating all the Mutable (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces) and Earth Signs (Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn). Virgo demands evidence. It wants proof. Virgo seeks Truth. Virgo pursues precision and perfection. It seeks to correct mistakes, edit and fine tune the areas of our lives where the sign resides. While the Sun and Mercury travel through Virgo we have an opportunity to get organized, set new routines, get more productive, analyze, assess and clean-up areas of our lives that need our attention, Virgo asks us to look over our lives and notice how we spend our days. Virgo teaches us to discriminate what to do and when. We are aware of what isn’t working and how to fix it. Virgo seeks for all areas of life to function like a well-oiled machine. Mercury in Virgo is meticulous, skeptical and perfectionistic. But it is also witty and I think that during this Virgo season having a good sense of humor will be very helpful. So, don’t get caught up in the drama of life. It doesn’t have to be that serious. Do what needs to get done. Change what needs to be changed. Rest. And focus on the things that matter to you.
The Japanese concept of Kintsugi (金継ぎ), meaning "golden joinery," is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with a lacquer dusted with powdered gold, silver, or platinum. Kintsugi seeks to highlight the broken cracks instead of disguising them. Imperfections become perfections. And the ugly becomes beautiful. Somewhere in our lives we can notice our broken pieces, the ugly parts of ourselves we wish to fix or hide. We can hold them in our hands like fine, delicate China, and choose to create a piece of art of those things we deem unacceptable, useless or unbearable. There is beauty in all the leaves that have fallen in your life. Pick the pieces of you from the ground, seek to see the beauty and the beauty will reveal itself to you. During Virgo season, make your life a masterpiece.

About the Partial Lunar Eclipse
The Full Moon opposes Mercury in Virgo. We might not be seeing things clearly. Things are not what they seem. Our mind and heart might not be in the same place. We need to look at both sides of a story. Mercury in Virgo asks for facts, details and clear concise communication. Whereas the Moon in Pisces is about trusting our intuition and going with the flow. We must find a balance between the two. There may be a push-pull energy somewhere in our lives. We may be forced to take action or choose between two situations. Know that you can slow down. Know that you can take your time. Trust your own judgement and intuition. Take your time and do it right.
