8/27/23
Sunday is ruled by the Sun. Today, the Sun opposes Saturn. Pay extra attention to what is happening in your life. We may meet with resistance and uncover obstacles and limitations this week. We may feel restrained or blocked by a person or situation. There can also be an inner struggle or tug-of-war between two aspects of ourselves or two areas of our lives. Finding a resolution between polar opposites might be difficult, but not impossible. Every story has two sides. Consider both sides. Mediate. Negotiate. Be willing to compromise.
Saturn is also the Planet that teaches us about the Law of Cause and Effect, also known as the Law of Karma. The Sun represents our Soul, and Saturn opposes it. This means that the Universe wants us to take a deep, real, honest look at ourselves and our lives. Notice what you have created. Notice what karma is being reflected back to you. Notice the cause and effect of events, situations, thoughts, and actions. Learn from the past. Make corrections and changes as needed. The Universe is merciful, and so is your heart. Once we know better, we are given the opportunity to do better. So, starting this day, do better.
Also, today, Mars enters Libra, giving us the ability to fight for balance, harmony, and peace. Fight fair and avoid passive-aggressive behavior. Watch your words. Practice forgiveness and understanding. Be just. The Moon is supporting our Higher Mind today, as it trines Jupiter, Mercury, and Uranus. We can think outside the box to find supportive solutions. We can be guided by our inner wisdom and choose a path of peace and love. Stay present. Stay in your heart.
RITUAL:
Sun opposite Saturn Ritual:
The sun represents the Light of our Soul. Saturn is the planet of reality, time, and karma. Today, we come face to face with our current reality, our use of time, and the consequences of our actions and thoughts. We have the opportunity to connect to the wisdom of our Soul’s Light today. The following ritual will help you.
Ritual to help integrate the energies of the Sun opposite Saturn:
Find a quiet space where you can sit undisturbed.
If comfortable, close your eyes.
Bring your awareness inward.
Imagine entering a beautiful Temple.
In the Temple, you find two doors.
When you open the first door, you notice the life that you have created up to this point.
Notice this life.
What works?
What doesn’t work?
What needs to change?
What is working?
Be grateful for that.
Then, when ready, stand in front of the other door.
This door represents the life that your Soul would like you to have.
Open the door.
Notice what your Soul wants for you.
What does a life led by your Soul look like?
What needs to change in your current reality to create the life of your Soul?
Make a commitment to your Soul.
Decide to live a life led by your inner wisdom.
Thank your Soul and ask that you continue to be guided to live your best, Soul-based life.
