Mars in Leo

Mars entered Leo this morning, finally coming out of its long stay in the sign of Cancer. Mars in Leo is beneficial for all Air and Fire Signs. I had a Mars in Leo moment this morning. As I was coming into my shower, a small butterfly-like moth awoke and began to fly towards me. She had beautiful black and brown wings. She was startled. I noticed her and gave a gesture from my heart that it was ok to be here. She flew and landed on a piece of clothing. I take really hot showers so I was worried that the fog might hurt her so I opened the door a bit. As I was showering, I thought about stewardship. I thought about how deeply I care about nature and the stewardship of nature. How I wish I could protect every little animal and every tree and yet I can’t. Then I thought, we can’t afford to feel helpless in moments like this. Not in moments when world leaders are threatening the stability of the environment and the world itself. No. Every action we take, however small, can and will help. My flame was lit. My Inner Lion awakened.

There is a flame inside of you waiting to be lit. There is a Lion that sleeps, until it is awakened by the things, people, places and situations that matter most to you. Mars in Leo is asking you: What lights your fire? What awakens your Inner Lion? What gives your life meaning and purpose? For me, it is to help. To help everyday in every possible way that I can. My Inner Lion sits, awake, awaiting moments to be of assistance to God and the Angels. Sometimes it is just a smile to a stranger who needs one. Other times, a comforting word to a client or a small act of generosity. Mars in Leo is here to inspire us into action that aligns with our meaning and purpose.

Mars entered Leo and will connect with the Sun and Pluto. The Sun is representative of God’s Light and our Soul’s potential and purpose. Pluto is our Inner Power. Struggles, conflicts or opposition may arise to awaken your Inner Power. Not the power of force, but the power of Love. How can you choose Love in every situation that arises in your life?

Mars is bringing in the energy we need to get going on the things that matter most to us. Find what lights your Fire. Find what inspires you and gives your life meaning and purpose.
