New Moon In Scorpio

The Moon enters the sign of Scorpio today at 1:29pm EST and we can already feel the upcoming energies of the New Moon Phase. This New Moon will impact the Fixed Signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius) in our Natal Charts.

The New Moon in Scorpio takes place tomorrow, November 1st at 8:47am and its power extends until the following lunation. The New Moon is ruled by Mars. Mars is in the sign of Cancer, creating an intense and powerful opposition to Pluto. Just before elections in the United States, unfortunately we can expect a power struggle between both sides. These are unprecedented times! Expect the unexpected.  

This lunation carries the signature of both Pluto and Mars at the anaretic degree. This anaretic degree holds the power of Pluto in Capricorn since 2008. IT is a graduating degree both individually and collectively. We are letting go and the changes will be profound and deep. You can already see what is falling apart, what needs to be rebuilt and what can no longer be rebuilt. From now until Pluto changes signs into Aquarius, we have a powerful opportunity to take stock of our lives and notice what is naturally changing, shifting and transforming. We are being led, pay attention to the winds of life and where you are being taken.

Mars in Cancer wants to protect and guard the home and family. Mars in Cancer is emotional and sensitive and wants its feelings validated. Pluto, on the other hand, wants to remain in command. Pluto in Capricorn has been changing financial and governmental systems worldwide since 2008. Pluto in Capricorn wants to defend people in power and the old ways of ruling the world, which are no longer working. Technology has changed the world, and we are about to see how this new world will look like as Pluto in Aquarius unfolds until 2043.

An opposition is equal to a stand-off. No one wins a stand-off. An opposition is a push-pull energy that requires one party to get off the see-saw. Someone or something is gotta give. The energy of Scorpio implies that a lot is going on in the background and in secret that the public is not able to see. These are times to pray and bring in Light from the Higher Realms to help humanity and Earth.

On a more personal level, Scorpio is teaching us to heal, transform and regenerate some part of ourselves and our lives. The strong water signature in the sky is deeply cathartic, purifying and renewing. This is a great time to have a good cry. This is a great time to forgive, make amends and ask for forgiveness. This is a great time to transform from inside, out.

In the sign of Scorpio, we can meet our shadow. The ‘darker’ parts of ourselves so as to heal and transform them. For example, in Scorpio, we meet our self-destructive tendencies, subconscious woundings, our need for control and power, our anger, our fear, our pain, our obsessiveness, our jealousy, our lust, our ego and all our tendencies to stray from what we know in our hearts is good, innocent and just. We are releasing, surrendering and letting go of what no longer serves us.

A New Moon is an opportunity to enter a new phase, to open a new door and step into a new threshold somewhere in our lives. We get to learn and grow from the old chapters of our lives and write new chapters. We get to redefine ourselves and create ourselves anew. There is such Mercy in Nature that we get a new day every day! A new opportunity in every breath to start again.

I am always amazed with my work with the Angels, at how God sees us (brings tears to my eyes even as I write it). We are seen through the eyes of Unconditional Love. Do you know what that means? Love with NO conditions. No matter the condition, you are loved. So loved are you that Angels have been sent to guard and guide you! Infinite Unconditional Love surrounds you - always. No matter what we do…how ‘bad’ we are…we are always loved, guided, and cared for. There is such Mercy and Kindness in the Love that comes from God and the Angels. It is truly my prayer that you get to know and experience that Love. Unconditional Love is the power that drives the ‘darkness’ and ‘shadows’ away. It is Light, Love and Grace that guides the heart back to its innate wisdom. We are innately wise. We know. And we get an opportunity every single day and every single moment to do what we know innately is right.

What transforms during Scorpio Season is our way of perceiving each other and the world. Our way of ‘othering’ and pushing each other away because we think we are not good enough or worthy enough of each other’s Love and Kindness. There are several symbols to the sign of Scorpio, but two speak loudly during this New Moon. The symbols of the Eagle and the Dove.

That we may be like Eagles, flying high above, seeing the bigger picture as God does. Seeing the goodness that resides in all beings and all things in creation. That we may be like the Doves…pure in heart, in mind, in action and in intent. That we remember the purity resides within each of us. That we may forgive and be forgiven. That we may fly like the Eagle and see the bigger picture to remind each other of the Truth of Who We Really Are. Innately Good. That we may see the Dove in the eyes of the person that has harmed us the most. That we may see the Dove in our own eyes when we look in the mirror.

Scorpio Season zodiacally and astronomically represents one of the darkest time of the year. It is in the darkest of moments that we discover the power of our own Light and our innate wisdom and goodness. It is when we are lost that we are truly found. In whatever way the dark of night is showing in your life, be willing to see the Light. In whatever way, you feel lost you, be willing to be found. Know that you are seen. Know that your prayers are heard. And although you may forget, you are always guided. Angels are with you. The Divine is guiding you to where you want to be.

May the growing Light of this New Moon guide you, and may it remind you of your true potential for greatness. May you remember that you already have all the answers you seek. May you find your inner wisdom and trust it like the Universe trusts you to have it!
