On Saturday we had a conjunction between Venus, Neptune and the North Node. A new seed has been placed in our hearts or somewhere in our lives as the planet of Love and Money met with the planet of dreams and imagination. The North Node leading the way into a new decision, path or goal in the Pisces sector of our Natal Charts.

Venus and Neptune are active this week. Venus changes signs from water into fire. Neptune in Pisces will conjunct the North Node and sextile the Moon on Wednesday. Activating again the conjunction that took place over the weekend. Notice any insights and awareness that may have risen within you over the last week, as the middle of this week may bring forth even more clarity and direction.

About Neptune

At its best Neptune represents our ability to use our imagination and dream a new life for ourselves. At its worst, Neptune is a planet of drunkenness and intoxication, the intoxication that occurs when hormones take over our brain and we feel attracted to someone, and the intoxication of alcohol or drugs. Neptune is a fog that quickly spreads in our consciousness, which if we are not careful can lead to illusions, deception, confusion and disillusionment. I call it the “La-La Land planet.” It’s nice to escape into “La-La Land” but you don’t want to stay there too long.

Venus and Neptune

Neptune connecting with Venus and the North Node is asking us to believe in a new dream, goal or direction that was previously unseen or seems impossible or at the very least improbable in some way. Read my previous blog on the conjunction for more info.

Both Venus and Neptune will be highly involved this week. Venus, the Goddess of Love, Beauty and Harmony will change signs into Aries on Tuesday. Beginning a profound energetic shift that activates the upcoming Venus Retrograde. The last time we had a Venus Retrograde of this magnitude was back in 2016-2017. Think back to your love, creative and financial life back in 2016-2017. What were the themes, spiritual lessons, challenges/obstacles and opportunities for growth then? And how are those showing up in your life now?

About Venus Retrograde

Let me first begin by saying that I will write another blog in-depth about the upcoming Venus Retrograde but, in the meantime, here is a taste of what is to come.

Although the Venus Retrograde has not begun yet, we will already feel the energetic shifts and lessons the retrograde will bring because Venus is changing signs into Aries this week. Notice any placements you have in the Aries/Libra Axis as you will be feeling this Venus Retrograde in those areas.

Venus Retrogrades can show up differently for each of us based on the particular area of life or of the Natal Chart it touches. But for the most part, great spiritual lessons show up in our lives when a retrograde occurs. We are given an opportunity to expand our consciousness and awareness.

Venus retrogrades can bring profound spiritual lessons around Love, Money, Creativity, Peace and Balance (all things Venus).  If you want to learn more about Soulmates, read the book by Dr Brian Weiss “Only Love Is Real,” from all the books I’ve read, it is the most accurate depiction of what a Soulmate is and how they show up in our lives.

Venus Retrogrades and Soulmates

Venus Retrogrades can bring Soulmates into our lives. People may enter your life whom you may have known in previous lives. There may be a strong sense of familiarity, a sense of coming home whenever you are around them.  There is a strong mutual attraction and recognition of a bond that you can’t quite pinpoint. There is usually a telepathic connection. They can read you and you can read them.

When the Universe places a Soulmate in our lives, a new door of possibilities opens. It usually happens in an unexpected and unplanned way. Sometimes one or both soulmates do not recognize the opportunity or feel ready to take it. We have free will and we must choose to open the door. Both must enter the door. The Universe places the opportunity in our path, and it is up to us to take it.

The last time Venus was in Pisces and Aries during a retrograde was back in 2017. Notice the doors what were placed in your path then. Did you open them? Or did you allow them to close? Notice people, places and things that came into your life back then. Notice the spiritual lessons that came into your life and where you are now in regard to those lessons. Life is cyclical. And the cycle repeats again now. The door revolves.

The upcoming Venus Retrograde will activate the last retrograde as well as bring in new insights and opportunities into the areas of our lives where Virgo/Pisces and Aries/Libra are in our charts. The Week Ahead

On Monday, Mercury will trine Jupiter, and new ideas, prospects and insights are available to us. Mercury provides opportunities for mental expansion, and opportunities in travel, commerce and movement onward. Jupiter brings a sense of optimism and faith into the week ahead. Jupiter is now moving forward so areas of our lives that may have felt stagnant, stuck or block will now begin to advance. Mars the planet of action will also come out of retrograde later this month, when it does, its go time!

On Tuesday, Venus enters the sign of Aries. New beginnings in love, creativity, money, balance and peace are possible in the areas of our Natal Charts ruled by Aries. Notice any placements in the Cardinal (Aries, Libra, Cancer and Capricorn) and Fire Signs (Aries, Leo and Sagittarius) as these will feel the frequencies the most. Venus is getting ready to retrograde now and will bring powerful spiritual lessons into our lives. Pay attention to what and who shows up in your life at this time.

On Wednesday, Neptune conjuncts the North Node as well as sextiles the Moon. It’s a day to dream about your future. Create a vision board. Write down your dreams this week as insights, ideas and direction may show up through dream messages from the Divine. During the middle of the week, we may need more rest or play time. Practice self-care. Foster balance between work, play and rest. Be mindful of overindulge and keep cravings in check.

On Friday, Venus sextiles Pluto. It’s a sexy and attractive energy. Work on your appearance and how you show up in the world. Work on your sense of inner power. How powerful do you feel in your life circumstances and choices? Practice self-empowerment and build your confidence. If you are single, bring your “A” game. If you are in a relationship, make time for intimacy. Remember to flirt. Plan a sweet and spicy date night. Bring out the fancy clothes and fancy china. Do something surprising and fun for your partner. Make time for love in the later part of the week.

Venus sextile Pluto is also beneficial for career, business or entrepreneurship, expand on new ideas to improve these areas in your life. Find ways to increase your abundance and prosperity. Socialize. Network. Connect. Unite forces with other people. Work together on common goals and visions. Time to plan ahead in all areas pertain to money and financial gain.
