Pluto in Capricorn - Direct Motion

The last days of Pluto in Capricorn are before us. Pluto will station direct on October 11th 2024. Pluto came into Capricorn on January 25th 2008. Pluto will be in Capricorn until November 19, 2024, signaling the end of an era. After this, Pluto will move into Aquarius and remain there until 2048. We will have plenty of time to get to know Pluto in Aquarius.

The outer planets move very slowly. They transform our lives much like a caterpillar into a butterfly, through a gradual, lengthy process of change. One day you simply wake up, and you are a butterfly, and you are not quite sure what happened or how you got there. One day you realize life is not the same. You are not the same. That’s the gift of an Outer Planet visit in our chart and in our lives - irreversible change. Like the waves of the ocean beating against rocks, one day the rock realizes its edges have been smoothed. Ultimately, change is neither good nor bad. It simply is part of living on Earth. Change is inevitable.

Notice what has been transformed in your life since Pluto entered Capricorn. I remember when Pluto came to visit me. I was walking in the snow at night during a trip to the mountains. It was cold and I was walking alone under a moonless night, trying to grasp the big change that was ahead of me, and I was having a long and deep conversation with God. When I was done, I stopped and looked at the dark sky and felt the cold air on my face. I could barely breathe but something deep inside of me said I would be ok. And years after that night - I am.

Looking back, I am grateful to Pluto and to God. Grateful for all the personal growth, spiritual lessons and life transformative situations that came with Pluto’s visit. And now, I look forward to the path ahead of me as Pluto now enters a different area in my chart. Notice where the sign of Aquarius is in your chart, as this will be the home of Pluto for many years to come.

Pluto will stay in the sign of Aquarius from late November 2024 until 2048.  The change will be gradual and slow, but if you pay close attention, you’ll notice it. Change often begins in subtle, quiet ways much like a scent of a flower in the air…pay close attention to your mind, your heart and your life, and you’ll catch it.
