The Full Moon in Leo ignites the Heart of the Lion within us, fire is lit deep in our hearts. Leo is the center of the flame; it is Fixed Fire. What keeps your fire going? Where in your life are you lit up? The Full Moon occurs on 2/12/25 at 8:53am EST and it’s the main Astrological event this week. Mercury entering Pisces on Friday will continue to expand the Full Moon energies for the next couple of weeks and prepare us for the upcoming Venus Retrograde.

The Full Moon in Leo
The Full Moon is ruled by the Sun. The Sun is in Aquarius conjunct Mercury. Mercury met with the Sun in Cazimi, and we have been given new understandings, awareness, insights and direction on how to move forward in our lives. Our intuition and gut have been speaking to us. As Mercury moves into Pisces later this week, the intuitive insights received during the Mercury Cazimi will become clearer. It is important to write dreams down during the Mercury in Pisces transit as the Universe will be providing additional insights through our dreams.
Mercury, the planet representative of the mind, communication, commerce and travel will change signs into Pisces on Friday, activating the energies of the current Full Moon. Activating the Mutable Sign (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces) Placements in your Natal Chart. At its best, Mercury in Pisces helps us be dreamy, romantic and imaginative. At it’s worst, we can feel clouded and foggy, and have difficulty expressing clearly. Make sure to feel stable and grounded when making choices and decisions.
The Full Moon is square Uranus in Taurus. Uranus was in Taurus from May 15, 2018 to July 7, 2025, and will return from November 8, 2025 to April 26, 2026. This will be its last return to Taurus for 84 years. Uranus represents revolution, technology, freedom and rebellion. Uranus is inviting all Fixed Sign (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius) placements to find freedom and change. Uranus in Taurus, disrupts the status quo. What was once secure, safe and lasting no longer works. Uranus wants freedom and authenticity. Somewhere in our lives we are being set free to be true to ourselves, our hearts, our purpose and our destiny.
Uranus is representative of Prometheus. In Greek mythology, Prometheus is a Titan who stole fire from the Gods to give to humans. Uranus is the urge for freedom and release from the chains that bind us. It is Divine Fire. The fire at the heart of the human spirit that propels us forward. The fire within is lit during this Full Moon and it is bringing illumination into places where we were in the dark, confused or lost. Prometheus stole fire so we may see. Do you see? Are your eyes opened? Are you listening to your inner knowing?
The Full Moon is illuminating the path ahead. Questions in our minds and hearts will receive answers from the Divine. The heart is speaking. The flame is burning loud and bright. Pay attention. Be illuminated from within. Make time to listen to your inner wisdom. It’s time.
