Weekly Astrology Forecast

The week begins with the planet of Love and Money, Venus, moving into the industrious sign of Capricorn.  Venus will be in Capricorn from November 11th through December 7th. Venus will be in Capricorn as Pluto transitions finally from Capricorn into Aquarius on November 19th, its like Venus has arrived to help us soothe and lighten the shift.

Somewhere in our lives we are changing trajectory. Somewhere in our lives new plans and goals are borne. A new vision is emerging. Venus is helping us get clear about what have learned during the long stay of Pluto in Capricorn. Venus is helping us determine what we want our next chapter to be about.

Venus in Capricorn helps us get serious about our Love and Money. We are ready to focus on our goals, dreams and aspirations.  We are ready to work hard and diligently towards what we want. The Sea Goat (symbol for Capricorn) focuses on the highest summit of the mountain, and stone by stone Capricorn climbs until it reaches the top.

We are asked to focus on the end goal. What is your end goal? What are you working towards? What are you really fighting for? What drives you forward? Venus in Capricorn gets her hands dirty in order to clean up the mess somewhere in our lives, and when she’s done our lives feel brand new. Somewhere in our lives we are asked to level up.

Venus in Capricorn is beneficial for all Earth Signs (Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn) and Water Signs (Cancer, Scorpio and Pisces). Notice what placements you have in these signs as well as where your Venus is natally, as these placements will be activated during the Venus in Capricorn transit.

It’s interesting to note that the Ruler of Venus in Capricorn, Saturn will be stationing direct in November 15th at 12 degrees of Pisces and 42 minutes. This is also happening as Pluto in Capricorn gets ready to leave the sign. Saturn rules the sign of Capricorn. Thus, Saturn is working together with Venus and Pluto during this process of transition. We are asked to let go of what no longer serves us (Pluto), figure out what we really want now (Venus), take in the lessons and build a new life (Saturn).

Saturn in Pisces will be most felt by the Mutable, Earth and Water Signs. If you have any placements in Mutable Signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces) you will feel this the most. What does this mean? Well, Saturn in Pisces is teaching us many things…but here are some that can obvious right now.

Saturn is helps us find our Inner Teacher and become our Inner Authority. Saturn teaches us to take responsibility of our lives and become an adult. Saturn rules time, karma and death. Saturn teaches us to mature.  Saturn teaches us respect, patience, endurance, discipline and accountability. Saturn teaches us about fear and darkness and how to master the denser spectrum of emotions. Saturn teaches us when to follow the rules and when to break them. Saturn is the last visible planet that holds the threshold between the spirit world and the material world. Saturn teaches us to transition from one phase of our lives into another, so it makes sense that Saturn would turn direct as Pluto gets ready to leave Capricorn (a sign it rules). Saturn is coming to make sure the transition is final.

Saturn in Pisces is teaching us collectively and individually the consequences of escaping reality. As a society, we are becoming aware of the many ways we escape from the present moment. Whether we escape into the privacy of our own mind, or into technology, people, vices (food, drinking, sex, etc), or simple daydreaming of a future not yet here, Saturn is teaching us to take accountability and responsibility for our life.  Saturn makes us face reality. Saturn asks us to get real with ourselves. How are you showing up in your life? How present are you? Saturn is teaching us to be present. Saturn says, “so you want that house? Ok. What are you doing about it?” Saturn asks us to build, make and create the life we want.  

There are more spiritual explorations to Saturn in Pisces. For example, Pisces rules the oceans. Imagine the depth, boundlessness of the ocean. As seen from the horizon, it spreads far and wide into the beyond with no boundaries. Pisces is like the ocean. Pisces is deeply intuitive, instinctual and feels everything, all at once. Saturn in Pisces is teaching us to create healthy boundaries in the places in our lives where we feel everything, all at once. In the places in our hearts, that are vulnerable and vast like the oceans…where there is immeasurable depths and vastness, where the infinity of Love can be held and touched....

As Venus in Capricorn is ruled by Saturn in Pisces, our hearts are being taught to ground in reality and create safe containers for the vulnerable, deepest parts of our hearts. Saturn in Pisces helps us explore our spiritual connection with the Divine, our dreams at night while we explore the depths of what is possible in an infinite Universe.

Saturn going direct while being the ruler of Venus in Capricorn is asking us to get serious about our hearts. We are asked to check in with the state of our heart, and the areas of love, money and wherever Cancer, Capricorn, Virgo and Pisces are in your Natal Chart.  We are asked to notice how we escape from being responsible with ourselves and our lives. We are asked to mature in the ways we handle our heart. We are asked to notice how we surrender and let go to the Divine. How trusting are we of the process of life? We are asked to be mindful of our boundaries and know how to transcend limitations.  

The infinite stream of Love and Light in the Universe that is symbolically represented by Pisces is held in the container that is Saturn, and we are asked to give structure to Love (Venus) in mature and responsible ways (Capricorn). We are asked to notice how we make space in our lives or set boundaries and limitations on on Love and Money (Venus).  How are you limiting yourself? How are you denying yourself what you want? How are your thoughts limiting what is possible? Listen to your self-talk and change it.

We have learned a lot about ourselves and the world while Pluto was in Capricorn since 2008. And now, Venus in Capricorn opens our hearts and awakens us to our capacity to find and create coherence, harmony, beauty, love and peace in our lives as we transition into a new epoch of Pluto in Aquarius. Aquarius rules the future. What future do you want individually and collectively?  

Venus in Capricorn is teaching us to master our hearts. As Saturn goes direct from its retrograde period, we get an opportunity to check in on the structures we have created in our lives. How solid are the foundations of the life you have made for yourself? Are there structures that have fallen or are ready to fall? What will you do with that? Saturn and Venus will helps us find the answers we need as we transition into a new era of Pluto in Aquarius. Be present in your heart and in your life. And focus on the path ahead. Onward to the future!
