There is a need for a breath of fresh air as the week begins with the Last Quarter Moon Phase. During this phase we are asked to notice where we stand in our life journey since the New Moon Phase and asked to notice what needs to be surrendered and let go of in order to proceed onto the upcoming New Moon Phase in early September. Notice where the weight is too much to bare and put the burdens down. This is the time to do that in some area of our lives.
Mercury, the Messenger of God and ruler of the mind and communications is going direct and moving forward on August 28th after being in retrograde for several weeks. During this period of time we have a change in perspective, we see things differently and there is a desire to express a new truth in our lives. We may have been going back and forth on something but as Mercury moves forward and the Moon changes phase into the sign of Virgo, we will notice a clear shift in perspective. As the New Moon in Virgo on September 2nd approaches, we will feel in our gut a deeper truth. Our intuition may point us to what we need to know and what we have an opportunity to do next.
On August 29th, Venus, the planet of Love, Relationships and Money changes signs into the sign of Libra. This is a very fortunate shift in energy for Venus. She is in dignity and her energy is strong in the sign of the scales of Justice. Venus changing into the air quality benefits all placements in your chart in the air (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) and fire signs (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius). While Venus is in Libra we have an opportunity to enhance our experience of beauty, fairness, love and ease. There is a focus on how we relate to others and an opportunity to look at the current state of our relationships. Venus in Libra gives us an opportunity to explore our values, our sense of fairness and what is just. Venus in Libra is a great diplomat, so we have an opportunity worldwide to seek diplomatic ways of getting along with our fellow neighbors. Venus in Libra is a great time to explore creative outlets. If you are a creative this is great time to work on your craft. Create new works, and expand on old work.
There is an opportunity for a breath of fresh air for all of us as the quality of air moves into the Great Benefics of Venus and Jupiter. Venus in Libra and Jupiter in Gemini, is very beneficial for all matters of communication, improving our mindset and speech, inviting new perspectives and new ways of interacting in our world. There is an opportunity to improve communication in our relationships. Also, both Jupiter and Venus teach us about money and finances, so we have an opportunity to work on our financial goals. Time to clean up the weeds from the financial sector of our lives and start planting new seeds.
This week focus on your relationships, your goals, and your money. It’s a great time to redefine these sectors of our lives and not be scared to ask the big questions. Define what you want. Surrender what no longer serves you. Ask the Divine for help and listen to your intuition.
Life is about learning to surf the waves of change. Change is always happening. However, this year into the next a lot of the major planets are changing signs and we will certainly feel the big shift in energy. We are already feeling the need to get our lives together. We are feeling the need for change. We are transforming individually and collectively. I imagine this is exactly what the caterpillar feels as it changes into a butterfly. It doesn’t quite know what is happening as is happening…yet it knows something is different. It knows things are not the same. It is a gradual, deep change, an irreversible change. Once the caterpillar becomes a butterfly, it never goes back to the same ground again. The perspective has completely changed. The whole self has changed. The butterfly flies into new unknown territory. And although the butterfly may not know it, the Great Architect has been aware all along of all the shifts and changes it has undergone.
Transformation is always guarded and watched over by the Divine, although you may not know it. You are being looked out after. Held by Angels and Guardians as you move through your life into all that you can become. May the journey of becoming all that you be, be a happy one!
