Happy Summer Solstice Week! The Sun enters the sign of Cancer this week and Mars, the planet of action, finally ends its long stay in the sign of Leo which began in December of last year. Somewhere in our lives we are awaken to what needs to change. We see that things cannot continue the way they have been. Five planets have now changed signs, and the Universe has been preparing us for this week. Time for action! What does that mean for you? Keep reading.

Monday

Monday is ruled by the Moon. The Moon is in Aquarius until mid afternoon. The Moon in Aquarius will activate the energy of the Uranus-Mars square from last week. Notice what comes up today. Pay attention to the signs. Stay grounded, cool and collected. It’s an emotionally driven day. People may be more out of sorts than usual. Practice patience. The Moon changes into Pisces at 2:09pm and makes a trine to Jupiter in the late afternoon. Jupiter is highlighting an inner truth. What is true to you? What have you been awakened to in your life? What do you now see clearly? Clarity is given for a reason. Explore the reason today.

As the Moon travels through Pisces this evening and makes a positive, flowing connection with Jupiter, we have an opportunity to regroup, rest, and connect with our inner guidance. Make time for quiet today. Listen within. Write down your dreams. God is speaking. Listen.

Tuesday

Tuesday is ruled by Mars. Mars enters Virgo today. Mars’ journey through Leo since December of last year, has inspired us to look deep into our hearts for clarity and direction. Notice what is clear to you now. Notice where your inner compass is pointing to.  As Mars enters Virgo today, mindful and well-informed action is required from us. The Universe has been informing your intuition about changes to make in your life. It’s time to implement what you have learned. Virgo helps us fine tune our intuition.  Notice what actions you are being guided to take by the Divine. Notice what your Soul is asking of you.

Mars in Virgo is clear on the goal. The mind is sharp and concise in Virgo. We know what to say and what to do. The Moon in Pisces today sextiles Mercury in Cancer and our intuition and emotions are speaking to us. Clarity is accessible.

Mars in Virgo helps us clean up messes. Notice what is out of balance or out of sorts in your life. It is a great time to clean up your home. It is a great time to clean up your mind and heart. Virgo helps us plant new seeds. What new seeds (ideas, perspectives, dreams and wishes) are you wanting to plant in your mind and heart? Virgo is sign of service. Wednesday is ruled by Mercury. Mercury is in Cancer.

The waters are murky, and we may not have all the information needed to make a choice. Sometimes it’s best to wait before making a move. Trust your gut (Cancer). Trust your inner compass. Mercury is in Cancer signaling the importance of trusting our inner guidance right now.

Mercury is also a healing planet, while in Cancer, we have an opportunity to bring healing to our family life, home life, our past and our eating/nurturing habits. Notice what you are asked in these areas of your life. Notice how you can bring Light into situations and how you can bring a soothing balm into your life and the lives of those around you.

Also today, Jupiter squares Neptune. Imagine walking in the dead of night through thick fog and you come to a fork in the road. You have to make a choice and pick a path ahead. That’s the square today, the tension built into some choice in your life. Jupiter, symbolic of Divine Order and Truth, stands with you and helps you trust your inner compass to pick a path. Somewhere in our lives the fog is clearing. Somewhere in our lives the path is becoming clearer. Somewhere in our lives Jupiter is giving us hope and inspiration to keep going. Keep going.

Thursday

Thursday is ruled by Jupiter. Jupiter is in Cancer. Jupiter in Cancer is exalted. Jupiter began a whole year cycle in the sign of Cancer; the last time it was in this sign was 2013. Notice what has changed in your life since then. Notice themes and spiritual lessons from that time coming back full circle now. Mars quincunx Saturn today and is ok to take a pause. Meditate on what you want to do and where you are going. Pause. Reflect. Take notice of what life is asking of you. Jupiter is helping us see the truth of situations in our lives. Jupiter is helping us restore faith in ourselves and in life itself.

Jupiter is the Great Sage and Spiritual Teacher. Somewhere in our lives we can be our own Teacher. Somewhere in our lives we can be a Teacher to another. Notice how Jupiter is showing up in your life. Notice your placements in Cancer, as these are activated right now.

Friday

Friday is ruled by Venus. Venus is in Taurus right now. We have been learning about Love. How to Love ourselves and how to Love others. We have been learning about our finances and the things that matter most to us. Venus in Taurus is the beauty of Nature. Venus is teaching us to find beauty in our lives. Venus is teaching us to see life through the eyes of Source/God/Universe. Can you see the Grace that surrounds you? Can you see the Beauty of Grace that is here right now? There is Divine Beauty in you. Venus in Taurus is teaching us. Pay attention.

The Sun enters Cancer today and it’s the Summer Solstice! Summer Solstice occurs when Earth is tilted closest to the sun, resulting in the longest day and shortest night of the year. The term "solstice" originates from the Latin words "sol" (sun) and "sistere" (to stand still), as the sun's apparent position in the sky seems to pause before reversing direction.

Cancer season gives us an opportunity to explore our relationship to the Moon, as Cancer is the Temple of the Moon. The Moon rules the mother/feminine principle, nurturance, emotional intelligence, the body, our emotions/feelings and what we do instinctually. During Cancer season we have an opportunity to connect more deeply with ourselves, family and tribe. Cancer teaches us about our vulnerability, our tenderness and provides us with an opportunity to be more gentle, sympathetic and sensitive. We can become more receptive and more Yin like the Moon. We can connect with our Inner Mother, and become a Mother to ourselves and to others. Notice what placements you have in Cancer as the Sun will activate this area for the next couple of weeks.

Overall, it is a week to listen to our intuition and be clear on what actions we need to take in our lives. Meditate. Write things down. Get your mind and heart in the same place. There is much to do! Get organized, plan and get going. The time is now.
