Full Moon in Capricorn

On Friday, June 21st, 2024, at 9:08 PM EDT, a Full Moon occurs in the sign of Capricorn. The Full Moon is squaring Neptune in Pisces.  This Full Moon will be beneficial for all Earth and Water Signs, and will bring forth opportunities for growth for all Air and Fire Signs.

Neptune Squares the Full Moon

Neptune represents the force of water. Water can be gentle and subtle, but it can also be a destructive force. Water represents our consciousness and emotional intelligence. Water changes form and can become vapor and fog.

Neptune can create a sort of fog in our consciousness. For example, the hormonal fog that occurs when the arrows of cupid hit us hard. All we can think about is the subject of our affections. In essence, we become “blinded” and “intoxicated” by Love. Neptune is the higher octave of Venus, so it also speaks of Love. Neptune can be the intoxicating effects of Love in our consciousness. Neptune rules illusion, fantasy, addiction and the ecstasy of Love. During this Full Moon, whether in relationships or in other areas of our lives, illusions may clear up and we have an opportunity to see things clearly.

Neptune squaring this Full Moon may spotlight a lack of balance in the area of Capricorn in our charts. Neptune can create a sense of lack of certainty, focus or direction in an area of our lives. It may point out to a feeling of distraction or a tendency to escape reality or current circumstances. We are deep in the waters of Neptune as the planet is in the anaretic degree. The 29th degree of a sign is the culmination of the sign.

Neptune in Pisces is currently teaching us about disillusionment. Notice, how do you  interact with this concept in your life? The illusion created by Neptune in Pisces is beginning to fade. The Light of the Sun reflected on the Full Moon is coming through the windows and our sight is restored. The veils lifted and we can see reality with Truth. Notice where Truth is showing up in your life. Notice how Truth is rising from the depth of your being.

The square to Neptune, the Lord of Illusion, Fantasy and Dreams, during this Full Moon, is asking us, what are we not seeing clearly? Where in our lives are we feeling confused?  Is there something you cannot see or forgot about? Is there something you left behind and now want to go back to? How have you been deceiving yourself or how have others been deceiving you? What has been hiding in plain sight? Are you feeling distracted? Lost? Confused? Where in your live are you lacking direction and order? Are you avoiding or escaping your current reality? What feels out of balance? Ask your heart. Listen.

Saturn in Pisces

The ruler of the Full Moon is Saturn in Pisces. Saturn helps us face reality. Saturn is the hard truth or pill that is difficult to shallow. Saturn teaches us to be real with ourselves and others. Saturn is facing the facts. Saturn points out what is no longer working for us so we may built new structures that are solid, stable and real.

Saturn in Pisces is teaching us to face and create reality with surrender, trust and faith. Pisces is the last sign of the Astrological Wheel. It is the place where the Soul surrenders into the waters of the cosmic ocean. I was once told, we can live many lives in one lifetime…I believe that is the gift of Saturn in Pisces, the surrendering of one life and in the entering into another.

Saturn in Pisces is showing us where we have lost faith, where we have become disillusioned by life. We face the fallen images, the cracked dreams and the shattered hopes of a past that never came to be. In the face of deep loss, all we can do is surrender. This is the opportunity being given to us…a deep, completer surrender. And in the surrender, walk into the Light of the Full Moon and be reborn.

Full Moon and Neptune

A Full Moon illuminates, and brings forth light so as to help us face and see ourselves and life clearly. Something culminates or comes to an ending during or around the Full Moon. Significant doors open or close during Full Moons. Our eyes are opened and we can see what was previously hidden or not accessible to our consciousness. The Universe lifts the veils and something gets revealed. We are aware and awake. We have an opportunity to see things differently. New doorways, pathway, hallways and horizons open before us. A new way becomes available.

Neptune being the Higher Octave of Venus, teaches us about compassion and understanding. As we lift the veils of illusion from our consciousness and our lives, we can experience deep gratitude, compassion, understanding for the lessons received. At the end of the day, we are spiritual beings learning lessons on Earth. Every person that crosses our path is a Sacred Teacher. We can bow to the Teachings and the Teacher with appreciation for the gifts bestow by the lessons given to us by the Divine. Notice what spiritual lessons are wrapping up in your life.

This Full Moon is asking us to see what we have learned since 2008. We are asked to review our lives, to clean up the closets and wrap up loose ends. We are finally entering a new chapter in our lives in the Capricorn area of our charts.

The Significance of Two Full Moons in Capricorn

This Summer we will have another Full Moon in Capricorn on July 21st. There is a significant spotlight on the Capricorn-Cancer Axis. We are being asked to focus on the Capricorn-Cancer axis of our chart.

Pluto has been in Capricorn since January 24, 2008.  These two Full Moons are significant because they point us to the lesson brought forth by Pluto in Capricorn.

Pluto has been moving through both Aquarius and Capricorn this year. Pluto will be retrograde in Capricorn from September 1, 2024 to November 19, 2024, during which time we will finally close the chapter of lessons provided by Pluto in Capricorn since 2008. You will feel the shift of energy, you are already feeling it.  Notice what has changed in you and in your life since 2008.

Pluto is the planet of death and rebirth. Some part of your life has died so that another may be born. Some part of your consciousness, your habits, actions, reactions, interactions has changed. Pluto represents irreversible change. Pluto is the process of deep and profound transformation that a caterpillar goes through to become a butterfly. Once the process begins there is no going back. The butterfly will emerge into a new life, she will fly into the sky and never come back to the same ground where she walked as a caterpillar. Not only has the outer changed but so has the inner space changed. Her perspective and vision of the world is not the same. In the same way , we have each evolved. Something in us is not the same since Pluto came into Capricorn.

Pluto will enter Aquarius on November 19, 2024, where it will remain until March 8, 2043. Pluto in Aquarius is a new epoch worldwide and individually. Notice what comes up for you and your life when the change in signs occurs before the end of the year. Notice changes in perceptions, understandings, and people, places, situations, and circumstances that enter or leave your life during this time.

Powerful change is happening. Sometimes we can only see the change in hindsight. However, it shows up for each of us, know that the Universe is working with you and that everything that happens can and will help you move forward.
