Saturn Retrograde
One thing you should know about me is that I love flowers. The other day I woke up and my Orchid had lost all her flowers. I was so deeply sad because I thought I didn’t get to enjoy them. I was too caught up in the business of everyday life that I didn’t make the time to stop and “smell the flowers”. The Universe by this simple ordinary act was teaching me to pause and enjoy life.
How often do we move so quickly through our days that we don’t pay attention to the beauty that surrounds us? How quickly are you walking through your life that you miss the view? Its interesting to note how we are always running from one thing to another, in an attempt to save time and build a quality life when in reality it is in the slowing down that we appreciate and experience life.
One of the spiritual lessons of Saturn is our relationship to time and reality. Saturn helps us to question, How are we using our time on Earth? How are we experiencing our reality and our life? How are we interacting with life itself? Saturn is the life we are creating. What are you creating? Really…what are you creating? Saturn in Pisces is helping us look deeply into the depth of our lives and question the reality we have built for ourselves.
About Saturn
Saturn will station retrograde on June 29th through to November 15th 2024. Saturn entered Pisces in March of 2023 and will be there until February 2026. Look back to the spiritual lessons you have learning since then. Notice what has been coming up for you in your life this and last week as you have already been feeling the frequency shift as Saturn retrogrades. Saturn is the planet that transmits the lessons of responsibility, discipline, boundaries, time, karma and pragmatism. Saturn is rules, systems, organization, and the defining and building of structures in our lives that are solid, reliable and stable. Saturn is the friend that opens our eyes to reality. In Ancient times, Saturn was the last planet, representing the edge between the known reality and the unknown. He was the keeper of the threshold. Often referred to as Father Time.
About Saturn in Pisces
Pisces is the last sign of the Zodiac, it represents the last signpost in the sojourn of the Soul through the Zodiac Wheel. The Soul has traveled and is now ready to put it all together, graduate and surrender back into the great cosmic sea. Pisces’ glyph is depicted as two fishes heading in opposite directions. This is symbolic of the choice to connect with our Spirit Nature or Earthbound Nature. We can experience life as if we were our Souls on Earth or we can experience life through the Flesh alone. Pisces teaches us to find the balance between both. We can find the balance between the mind and heart, between the body and the Soul. Saturn in Pisces is teaching us to restore balance.
Pisces is associated with the ocean. The boundless and immeasurable depths of the oceans and the enigmas that it contains makes it hard for us to completely understand the energies of Pisces. Pisces is an experience that cannot be described by words. Pisces is the feeling of merging into the depths of the ocean at midnight with no Moonlight. It is a deep surrender and dissolving into the unknown, where there are no boundaries and no clear definitions. Pisces teaches us to trust in the nature of the Universe. Pisces teaches us to merge with the Oneness of the Universe. Pisces teaches us about dreams, imagination, art, music, intuition and mystery.
Saturn Retrograde: What does it mean for you
During the Saturn Retrograde, we get an opportunity to stop and really look at our reality. Saturn in Pisces, helps us question our reality and our use of time on Earth. We get to question how reliable are the structures we have built in our lives? Is the current reality I am experiencing the one I truly want? Is the life I am living in alignment with my Soul’s Truth and purpose? What is out of balance within me or in my life? What needs to be different? What needs change?
When a planet becomes retrograde we become retrospective in some area of our lives. During a retrograde you may experience delays in plans and life pauses - all part of the Divine Plan. A planet in retrograde provides us with an opportunity to review, re-evaluate and revise our life and circumstances. We have an opportunity to reflect on what needs to be redone, rebuilt, repaired, renewed and reintegrated into our lives. We become aware of what has been stagnant or no longer serving us so we may make the necessary changes. We are being shown what is out of balance and what is no longer serving us in the area where Saturn in Pisces is in our charts.
Saturn will be retrograde until November 15th, 2024, we have the gift of time to explore and redefine our lives. Let’s get to it!
