Time for Peace - Part One

The Solar Annular Eclipse in the sign of Libra, also known as the Ring of Fire, is active today in World news. A day before the Eclipse takes place…the square from the Solar Eclipse in Libra to Mars, the planet of war, aggression, violence and anger in the sign of Cancer (the World Family) is lit up today. The energies of the Eclipse show that a larger war is possible, where more countries are involved between now and next year…The square, a stress creating aspect, also includes Mercury and the Sun. We are asked to think and interact with each other in new ways. We are asked to express our energy in the World in new ways.

Libra is about learning to relate to others. Libra is about diplomacy, peace and living in harmony with the rest of the world. Libra is about balance, fairness and justice. In addition to the square, which already causes stress and triggers…Mars is moving into an opposition (power struggle, push-pull energy) to Pluto, the planet of death, control, power, domination, elimination and irreversible change. Pluto is an all or nothing energy. Pluto likes to win at all cost. The hunger for power and the need to be right can blind a person to not listen to their own heart and move away from the wisdom of their Soul that resides within the heart. This is a time to move closer to our innermost goodness, not away from it. This opposition is inviting us to step away from extremes, a find a common middle ground. We are asked to act from a place of inner wisdom, and not to react from a place of Ego…collectively and individually.

Planets that come into contact with Pluto can be intensified and magnified in their expression and in their power. We can already see these energies being played out today in World news. Turbulent world affairs will be prominent in the news. Wars and conflicts can escalate between now and next spring. This is not a drill, more people and more countries may want to join the current fights in the world…pray for all and help the world in whatever way you can. No one wins a war…both sides, lose.

Choose peace in your own life.

Thoughts, words and actions have energy. The energy we place behind our thoughts, words and actions is creating our reality. We can help make the world a better place! We CAN make a difference…The energy that you emit makes a difference.

This is a powerful time to assist the world with your thoughts, words and actions. Pray. Ask the Angels for help. Hold a vision of a peaceful Earth in your mind and in your heart. Believe that it is possible. Think positive and peaceful thoughts.

Be an example of Peace in the world. Make peace with others in your own life. Make peace in your heart. Make peace with yourself. Use your words as weapons of peace, love and kindness. Act inspired by love, compassion and peace. Let your actions be guided by the kindness in your heart.

Don’t add to the fire that is already lit in the world by adding more anger, frustration, fear and injustice. Add peace, instead. Add understanding, instead. Add kindness. Express goodness through your words, thoughts and deeds. Turn the other cheek and be the wise Soul that you are in every situation and circumstance. Practice respect, love and acceptance.

This IS the time to help Earth in whatever way we can.

The current Eclipse is setting the stage for next year’s Spring Eclipses as well as the big energetic shifts happening next year when 5 different planets change signs. We have a big year ahead of us! This week is a worldwide wake-up call. We need to learn to get along. We need to fight fair. We need to talk, communicate and be willing to work things out. What happens in one country, affects the world entire. I don’t know what the answer are…. but I know that God/Universe is speaking through the firmament telling us to pay attention. The sky is speaking loud and clear. It’s time for peace. Make peace in your own life and help the world in anyway you can.

The most important way that I have found to help is by allowing my mind, heart and body to become an instrument of Peace. This prayer helps me…I hope it helps you too. Remember, we can choose to make Heaven on Earth…or Hell, its up to us. What will you choose?

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.

Where there is hatred, let me sow love;

where there is injury, pardon;

where there is doubt, faith;

where there is despair, hope;

where there is darkness, light;

and where there is sadness, joy.

Lord, grant that I may not so much seek

to be consoled as to console;

to be understood as to understand;

to be loved as to love.

For it is in giving that we receive;
