Week Ahead Astrology

Forgive my impromptu hiatus, but now I’m back and here’s your Weekly Astrology Forecast. The week begins with the energetic effects of the powerful, Full Moon on Gemini which occurred on Sunday and activated the Gemini-Sagittarius Axis. Notice any placements you have in the Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces) as these are activated for now until the next lunation cycle on December 30th.

The Gemini-Sagittarius axis is about our mind and how we are processing the current state of affairs in our lives. Both Mercury (which rules Gemini) and Jupiter (which rules Sagittarius) have been working on helping us see things from different perspectives. Expand our vision and understand the choices ahead of us. Mercury and Jupiter have been opposing each other.

Mercury in Sagittarius is excited about the future and wants to move ahead towards its vision. However, Jupiter in Gemini may be pointing out our fears and taking them out of proportion or we may have difficulty trusting our own intuition, ideas, goals or choices for our future. While both planets have been opposing each other, we may have been inclined to let doubt, confusion or fear creep into our minds and hearts. But now, as Mercury comes out of retrograde, we have clarity and conviction. Mercury likes movement and in Sagittarius is full speed ahead!

However, the Universe is asking us to be certain about what we want and where we are going in the area of our lives activated by the retrogrades. This Full Moon, which will be felt for the next two or three weeks, is a big deal because it is preparing us for next year and the big planetary changes that are happening then.

Mars, the planet of action, is retrograde until April 2025. So, although Mercury is moving forward, we may need to slow down and take our time as we take action steps and follow through with ideas, plans, and goals. We may need to course correct as we move forward into next year.

The mutable signs are preparing us for the big energetic shifts next year. The mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces) oversee the changing of seasons. They are the in-between, liminal spaces between the big seasons: spring, summer, fall and winter. Mutable signs are symbolic of the energy that flows in a leaf and changes its color until it falls from the tree. It is the breeze that slowly changes from warm to snowy cold. Mutable signs push us to get out of our comfort zones and make necessary changes. It is interesting to note that Mercury rules two signs (Gemini and Virgo) that are mutable and Mercury rules movement. Expect movement.

Next year 5 planets, as well as the Nodes of Fate, will change signs and with them new areas of our lives will be activated. Most likely it will occur in the areas of our lives where we have been afraid or reluctant to make changes, the Universe will step in and make changes for us. Fate will take the wheel. Change is the one constant in our lives. Somewhere in our lives, change is coming.

We are being guided now. This Full Moon is preparation for the change in season in our lives. Can you allow new seeds to grow? Can you allow brown leaves to fall? Can you allow what comes in to come in? And what goes out to go out? Somewhere in our lives, space is being made for the next chapter yet to be written.

The Full Moon squares Neptune in Pisces, and on Wednesday the Sun will square Neptune. So, the Neptunian haze will last most of the week. There may be things in our lives that are still unclear. Information that is missing or not available yet. Mars is asking us to pause and take our time as we enter the foggy waters of Neptune this week. Neptune is the veil that God/Universe places in front of our eyes so we don’t see the end of the story of our lives. We have to walk down the path and discover what is underneath the veil when the Universe wants us to see. Trust the veils will lift in Divine Timing.

This week the veil is infront of our eyes in some part of our lives, and we are asked to trust and walk in faith. We may be faced with a choice or decision where we don’t see the whole, entire path ahead of us. We may be asked to step into the fog and trust our intuition. Squares in Astrology provide the stress and discomfort needed to make changes in our lives. We are pushed and pressured to step out of our comfort zones and make the necessary changes in our lives. So, the square to Neptune by both the Full Moon on Sunday and the Sun on Wednesday are asking us this week to get over our fears, doubts, lack of faith, lack of trust and disillusionment. We are asked to trust the Divine. Trust our inner knowing. Deep inside of us, we always know the answer. Deep inside of us, we know when its time. Listen to your intuition this week. Fine tune it so you can recognize it and hear it like the chords of a guitar.

This week we have an opportunity to master our intuition. Notice the state of your intuition. How do you know things? Do you see, feel, sense, hear or just know? Do you receive nudges, gut feelings, inner knowing, signs, synchronicities, symbols or dreams? This is a powerful week to get in touch with your intuition as the square to Neptune can push us to grow and mature our intuitive abilities. Take time this week to examine what your intuition is telling you about your life and the changes you are wanting to make. Notice what inner knowing tells you about people, places, situations and circumstances that you may wonder about. Trust yourself. Trust your Soul. Trust the Divine.
