Weekly Astrological Forecast

The tension, frustration, irritation and intensity brought forth by the tug-of-war energies between Mars and Pluto is still felt in the ethers. And now, the opposition between Jupiter and Venus on Sunday adds an additional stressor.

Breath through any challenges, obstacles and oppositions from now through midweek. Listen and attend to your feelings so they may not fester or grow beyond proportion. Remember emotions are “energy in motion” and they are bringers of information. Emotions and feelings tell us what is working and what’s not in our lives so we may listen and make necessary changes. Keep calm and collected around others who may be feeling these energies more intensely than you. Power struggles, confrontations and temper tantrums are still likely. Let out steam in productive and meaningful ways. Take the higher road. 

On Sunday evening, Mars moves into the sign of Leo. This is a powerful positive shift for all fire and air signs, so notice your placements on these signs. Also, notice any placements in Aries and Scorpio as these will feel the energy shift of Mars, their ruler planet, from the water element into the fire element. Mars in Leo

Mars enters the sign of Leo on November 3rd, 2024 until January 6th, 2025 and then again from April 18th through June 17th, 2025. Mars in Leo will impact all fixed signs placements in our charts. Mars is Leo is highly creative and authoritative. Leo is the sign of Kings and Queens. Somewhere in your life, it may be time to take your power back.  Take responsibility for your life and stop waiting for someone to come save you. Mars in Leo says, it’s time to take the reins. As Maya Angelou said, “Your crown has been bought and paid for. Put it on your head and wear it.” It’s time to be the ruler of your own kingdom and wear your crown with confidence. Mars in Leo encourages you to become the King or Queen in your life. What kind of Queen or King will you be? How will you lead?

The ground of your kingdom is fertile. New seeds can be planted. Somewhere in our lives we are planting a new seed, a seed that will grow by next summer when the Mars Retrograde will have ended, and Mars will have moved on from the sign of Leo. Pay attention to your life right now and where you are being asked to step up and make changes.

Mars Retrograde

Mars will be in retrograde from December 6, 2024 through February 23, 2025, and will move out of the sign of Leo on June 17th, 2025. So, we can say that the energies of this Mars Retrograde will continue to impact us until late June of next year. I would dare say that the integration period of these changes will be more obvious in our lives by next Leo Season (July-August 2025). When the Sun in Leo will help us integrate the changes made during the Mars in Leo period.

Retrogrades are opportunities to look inward for answers. Retrogrades are pauses that help us reflect, review, and redo something in our lives. Retrogrades can bring delays, hindrances and setbacks to goals, dreams and aspirations. Mars retrograde can bring up frustration and a feeling of being annoyed because we don’t get what we want when we want it. However, Divine Timing is at play. Let life unfold as it will. If there are delays in your life, it’s for a reason. Let it be and attend to what needs your attention right now.

The retrograde will be a time to exercise patience, timing and understanding as we make slow and steady progress. Hold the vision and take inspired action when appropriate. Listen to life. This is not the time to push, rush or press against anything. This is the time to think carefully about your actions and the impact they have in your life and the life of those around you. You are part of an interconnected web of life.

An image that can help us meditate on the Mars Retrograde period is that of being an Architect of your own life.  Mars Retrograde in a Fire sign is like an Architect drawing their perfect home (Mars in the signs of Leo and Cancer). The Architect takes time to look thoroughly at the details. Everything is carefully thought of. No need to rush through the process. Take your time. Pay attention. You and the Universe are the Architects of your life.

Every action you take is a building block in your life. What kind of life are you building? What old structures are ready to be taken down? What new structures are ready to be built? If there is a room in your life that is changing, shifting or transforming, take your time to define what you want to do next. Work with the Grand Architect and listen to your intuition as you are inspired to make changes and new creations. The seeds planted right now will sprout by next July and August. We have time to get it right.

Remember, you are the King and Queen now. You are the builder and the architect.  What will you build in the land that is your life? It’s time.
